THE THIRD YEARS WERE ALLOWED TO GO TO HOGSMEADE, with a permission slip signed by a parent they were allowed to go to the local village for the day and spend whatever money they had on whatever they wanted to buy.

Harry however was not allowed. The Dursleys never signed his permission slip so sadly Harry wouldn't be able to come along with his friends.

The third years were gathered in the courtyard listening to McGonagall lecture them about being responsible while at Hogsmeade

"Ask her Harry" Hope said once McGonagall had finished speaking

Hope gave Harry a shove in the direction of McGonagall

Before Harry could even say a word McGonagall already spoke,

"No permission form signed, No visiting the Village That's the rule, Potter" McGonagall said,

Harry stopped in front of McGonagall stopping her from walking any further. Harry tried to persuade her, asking if she could sign it but it was no use, Mcgonagalls word was final.

"Forget about it guys, see you later" Harry said gloomily to Hope, Hermione and Ron,

"I can stay if you'd like?" Hope shouted to him as he began to walk away,

Harry spun back around

"It's fine, don't miss out because of me" He said sending her a small smile

"Just bring me back something" Harry added,

Hope sent him a nod,

"Go see my dad yeah? he'd like the company" Hope said with a shrug,

Harry gave her a nod watching as his three best friends went off to Hogsmeade without him.

"You don't think Sirius Black would be in Hogsmede do you?" Ron asked looking around as he, Hope and Hermione walked to Honeydukes sweet shop,

"Can we not talk about Sirius Black for five minutes please?" Hope said looking in a shop window rather than at her friends,

"Do you want to talk about the whole Boggart thing?" Hermione asked her hesitantly

Hope sighed. She was waiting for one of them to bring up the boggart, she never really felt the need to talk to anyone about it. Speaking with Remus made her feel better about the whole situation but talking to anyone else who never understood just seemed pointless.

"Not particularly" Hope said,

Ron and Hermione shared a look, Ron shrugged and Hermione rolled her eyes at him.

"You can talk to us Hope" Hermione said with a small smile,

"I know" Hope said nodding her head,

"Come on, there's Honeydukes" Ron said changing the subject.

Hope plastered a smile on her face following her friends into Honeydukes.
