HERMIONE DRAGGED HOPE OUT OF BED TO SEE HAGRID. Hermione in all honesty thought it was time Harry and Hope made up. So forcing the two to spend time together was her best bet.
Hope put up quite a fight. insisting that she was deathly ill and Hermione should leave her to die However, Hermione dragged her out anyway.
"Hermione please, can I just go back to bed" Hope asked sitting on the edge of her bed
"No" Hermione said throwing Hope's shoes in her direction,
"Put them on, come on" Hermione said gesturing to Hope's shoes,
Hope sighed putting on her shoes and tying the laces.
Hermione beamed gripping Hope's hand tight and pulling her out of the dorm room,
When Hope and Hermione reached the bottom of the stairs, Hope immediately made awkward eye contact with Harry,
"What's she doing here?" Harry asked looking at Her,
Hope scoffed,
"She has a name Harold, use it" Hope said pushing past him and exiting the portrait hole, Hermione close behind her.
Harry looked and Ron who shrugged following after Hope. Harry sighed and followed after them.
"Beautiful day" Hermione chirped when they got outside clearing the awkward, silent tension looming over the friends
"Gorgeous" Ron said sarcastically
"Less of course you're being ripped to pieces" Ron said bitterly looking at Hope and Hermione
"Ripped to pieces? what are you talking about?" Harry asked confused
"Ronald has lost his rat" Hermione stated,
"I haven't lost him, one of your cats killed him" Ron said frustrated
"The rats like what? 20 years old Ron? he's probably gone away to die of old age" Hope stated with absolutely no sympathy,
Ron shot her a look,
"Harry come on, you see the way those beasts are always lurking about and now Scabbers is gone" Ron spat
Hermione and Hope shared a look before laughing to themselves quietly
"Maybe you should take more care of your pet" Hermione said with a smirk
Ron and Hermione argued all the way down to the lake where Hagrid was.
Hagrid had returned back from the hearing for Buckbeak, he was standing in the water knee deep skimming rocks, and he looked awfully depressed so clearly the outcome of the trial wasn't the best.
"How'd it go Hagrid? the hearing?" Hermione shouted to him
Hagrid explained the hearing. How Lucius Malfoy was there and made Buckbeak out to be a horrible and dangerous creature. He explained how Lucius asked for Buckbeak to be executed and the ministry agreed.
