chenle was saying goodbye to jisung after their recovery from the special moment, and he was reluctant to see him go.

"well then, i'll see you tomorrow."

jisung smiled warmly, "bubye lele"

they giggled and jisung disappeared back into the real world.

chenle jumped at the voice of jeno behind him.

wide eyed, he recalled all of jisung's hints and realised what this meant, "i can be with him?"

jeno chuckled, "good luck", and he flew off into the trees.

chenle just smiled the rest of the 'day'.

he had woke up the next morning to the same noise, and was again, happier than usual.

he remembered that yeji was still in the castle that day, and he immediately got frustrated.

another day of waffle.

he reluctantly did his usual routine and walked to the dining hall, expecting breakfast.

instead, he was met in the corridor with yeji, who seemed annoyed.

"honey, you didn't meet me last night?"

chenle really almost threw up.

it felt so wrong, like he was letting someone down. like someone else should be doing that.

he knew exactly who, and he was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't realise yeji was still talking.

he had no clue what she just said.

she blew another kiss to him and she turned the corner.

little to chenle's knowledge, as soon as she wasn't in sight her acting stopped, muttering curses at him.

"does he think i'm an idiot? falling for his lies? huh, i'm going to ruin his life"

and she went to her room and fixed her makeup.

further down the corridor, chenle was now walking into the dining hall, dreading what they were going to say.

"yes, yeji told me that you let her down last night."
