Sanity (Part two of Adopted)

Trust Nobody?

I blankly stared at him. "....what?"

"Its only next door.... "

I got up. "Okay."

Sonny looked at me. "W-what? "

"Yep. That's fine. I'll stay with her."

Sonny grabbed my arm and pulled me down. But he did it like he wanted it to hurt.

My eyes widened as his did too. Sonny tried to say something but no words came out. He was speechless and so was I.

I knew Sonny didn't mean to do it, or Maybe he did....but he isn't like that, Maybe he got mad, but mad at what?

"Ellie.... "

I breathed slowly, "Yea..."

He tried to say something but again, he couldn't.

I walked out of the room. Sirah was suppose to pick me up in two hours but who cares. I walked out of the building and ran into the woods near the building.

I stopped and took out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter from my pocket and sat down and cried as I started to smoke. My hands trembled as tears ran down my face.

Smoking isn't a new habit.

I didn't even know why I was crying. Im pretty sure Sonny isn't allowed to get out of the hospital, but knowing him he would probably sneak out some how just to see where I was.

I yanked the cigarette out of my mouth and burned it on my arm. I buried my face in my knees and cried a bit more until I heard footsteps

I didn't expect Sonny, so I looked up and I was right, it wasnt Sonny, it was Amber.

"Before you say anything about-"

"Don't tell me not to say anything about it....are you....who are you...?"

Amber took a deep breath and sat down next to me, "I was Jack's other sister.... do you remember Jack...?"

"Essa's brother...?"

Amber nodded her head, "I have custody over him, well, I have been living with him for months now"

"Wait....Jack is alive?"

Amber nodded her head, "that's how your mother found me....she told me if I don't kill you, she will kill Jack, and..... im sort of like Sonny in a way, I would to anything to take care of my younger sibling. "

"What are you saying...."

Amber stood up and so did I, Amber laughed a little bit as I took a few steps back.

"You really don't think Sonny's never killed someone before right?"

"...Sonny's never killed anyone...."

Amber laughed again, "For you, Sonny would kill anyone, including Crystal "

"What are you saying...."

"Im saying that the pills that Sonny gave Crystal weren't so good..."

"He didn't kill Crystal"

Amber laughed again, "he sure did, and Maybe even Crystal and Mallory's mother...."

"B-b-but why...?"

"You better keep your eye on Sirah and Eleanor "

I gasped, Amber was walking away until she stopped, "Ellie, I'll be back, this doesn't mean that were friends."

I walked away slowly until she called my name again, "and Ellie?"

"Yea....?"

"Trust Nobody."
