I Promise

I felt my face burning as I walked back into the hospital. I walked into Sonny's room and hugged him. "Ellie i-"

I shook my head. "Sonny stop talking to Amber."

"Why....she is my friend. We are meeting up tomorrow."

"No, don't. I just talked to her...."

"Oh! What did she say?"

"She....uh.."

I thought about what she said about Crystal, and Crystals mom. "Uh, Amber said that, you killed someone..."

Sonny looked at everything but me. "And....she said you killed Crystal...and her mom I think."

"Uhm.... I don't know what she was talking about. "

I could tell he was crying. "I....I didn't want to...I swear, its just....she said she was going to kill you..."

This was really hard to take in. I held back tears, "I won't....tell....or anything"

I was breathing slowly as I started to cry a little bit, "I guess...you'll never look at me the same again, or even talk to me or trust me right?"

I shook my head.

"I won't tell Sonny.....I promise."
