Connor P.O.V

I open my eyes and look around at the beautiful looking zen garden around me, my first instinct was to find Amanda. I walk onto the white walkway that leads me to a bridge. I begin to walk over it towards the centrepiece of this place where I see a figure standing next to a wall, tending to some roses.

Amanda Status: Trusted

"Hello, Amanda." I greet the woman in front of me, she turns around and smiles at me. "Connor... it's good to see you." She said as I give a small smile in return. "Congratulations, Connor... finding that Deviant was far from easy and the way you interrogated it was very clever." She says to me as she picks up one of the roses and sniffs it.

She then turns around to face me and said. "You've been remarkably efficient, Connor."

"Thank you, Amanda." I say, smiling again. "We've asked the DPD to transfer it to us for further study. It may teach us something about what happened. The interrogation seemed... challenging...what did you think of the Deviant?" Amanda asked me.

"It showed signs of PTSD after being abused by its owner, as if it's original program had been completely replaced by new instructions." I replied to her.

"This... Lieutenant Anderson and Detective L/N have been officially assigned to the deviancy case... what do you make of them?" Amanda asks me as she begins to water the roses.

"I think Lieutenant Anderson is irritable, and socially challenged. But I also think he used to be a good Detective... as for Detective L/N, she seems extremely nice and is easily loyal especially to the Lieutenant, I find it strange that they seem so close due to their personalities being so different. But they are intriguing characters." I replied to Amanda looking down for a moment.

"Unfortunately, we have no choice but to work with them. What do you think is the best approach?" Amanda asked.

"I will adapt to their personalities. It is in the best interest of the investigation that I avoid conflict and try to accommodate their psychology." I replied

Amanda Status: Trusted but Decreasing

Amanda huffs at this which confused me for a moment before she turns back to me, a look of anger on her face. "More and more Androids show signs of Deviancy. There are millions in circulation. If they become unstable, the consequences will be disastrous. You are the most advanced prototype Cyberlife has ever created. If anyone can figure out what's happening, it's you." She says as she walks in front of me. "You can count on me, Amanda." I said to her, firmly.

Amanda then walks a few steps away from me but then stops and turns to me. "Hurry, Connor. There's little time." She said as she walks away from me.

When I open my eyes I head to the Station, once being allowed in I head towards where all the officers desks are. I look around and see many empty desks, I had to find the Lieutenants and Detectives desks. I glanced at every desk until I spot both their name plates, both desks were empty.

I looked around seeing an Officer nearby I walk over to them. "Excuse me. Do you know what time Lieutenant Anderson and Detective L/N usually arrive?" I ask as the Officer sighs.

"Depends on where he was the night before." They chuckle. "We're lucky if we see him before noon. Detective L/N should be here soon though." He said looking at the time for a moment.

I nod and walk back over to their desks, I sit in the chair next to them for moment before standing up. I look at the Detectives desk and decide learning more about her could make working with her easier the same with the Lieutenant.
