The first address you had been to had been completely normal, other than the anti-Android items. But the second address further away completely explained how he had managed to afford two properties. Red Ice.
Rather than finding the men you were looking for the three of you had stumbled onto a drug bust, everyone had congratulated you all on finding the drugs but none of you really felt much pride towards it, you weren't there for that you wanted to catch two people who had killed multiple Androids and tortured another.
Disappointment was the main feeling you had, these Androids deserved justice, but you couldn't get that for them because you couldn't find the people who had hurt them. You were all back at the station now in complete silence that was until Hank broke the silence.
"We'll find em' they'll slip up eventually, you know they will." He said, reassuringly but you weren't so sure about it the only lead you had was Joey's name from Emilie. She had nothing else to tell you neither did Joseph, now it seemed like you were just grasping at straws in the hopes that something new would come up.
"Statistically speaking, our chances of finding them are very low. They've done exactly what they said they would, disappear." Connor mumbled in defeat.
"He's right, Hank. They're gone." You say folding your arms across your chest.
"Both of you stop that! I'm supposed to be the one whose always grumpy and upset." Hank complains looking at both you and Connor. You and Connor glance at one another knowing Hank was right, it was usually him.
"Sorry, Hank... I just... I'm struggling to stay positive. Knowing that our chances of succeeding are very low just makes me feel upset." Connor explained making Hank sigh.
"Alright keep being a negative nelly." Hank grumbles making you snort trying to keep your laughter in.
"A negative nelly? What is that?" Connor asked.
"He's just saying you're overly negative and need to stop being a negative nelly." You explained to Connor who nodded in understanding.
"I understand, and I apologise for being a 'negative nelly' I will try to stop." Connor apologised making Hank laugh. "Right, we have like half an hour left of our shift. So, stop being sad, because after this it's bonding time for me and you, Connor." Said Hank making Connor finally smile even if it was just a small one.
"Then you get to go to Y/N's house and be all romantic and shit." Hank continued with a slight disgusted look.
"I very much enjoy being romantic towards Y/N." Connor admitted, and Hank frowns at him.
Once all of your shifts ended you parted ways with Connor and Hank, getting into your car. You started to wonder what Connor wanted to talk to Hank about.
Connor's P.O.V
The car ride with Hank was very silent but then there wasn't much to talk about after today, I was just happy to be spending some time with him before going to the Detectives house later.
"So what is it you wanted to talk about?" Hank asked, I realised that Y/N must have told him I wanted to speak to him about something. "We can wait until we get back to the house." I said making him glance at me with a confused look on his face.
"Spit it out, Son." Hank demanded.
"You're going to think it's ridiculous, so I would prefer to wait." I informed him looking away from him and towards the window. "Most questions that come out of your mouth are ridiculous, Connor. Just ask what you wanna ask." He said as we slowly pulled up into Hanks driveway.
