Hank made you use his car to get to the area so the three of you were all together, you sat in the front trying to keep Hank away from Connor as much as possible after what just happened.

"Detective?" You heard Connor's voice call out from behind you. You turn to look at him. "Yes Connor?" You ask as Hank groans. "What's your opinion on rain?" Connor asks looking out the window at the rain. 'He's still trying to get to know me...' You thought to yourself.

"I'm used to it, it rains a lot where I'm from. But I can't lie I don't really like it." You responded as he nodded at you. "What about you?" You ask as he tilts his head. "Are you asking my opinion or if I like it?" He responds.

"Both I guess." You say shrugging. "He can't like anything he's a fuckin' machine Y/N." Hank grumbles as you sigh in defeat. "I wouldn't say I like it, but I think it's pleasant to watch. It's also very beneficial for the environment but I'm sure you're aware of that." Connor responds as you smile at him, he gives a small smile back. This makes your heart skip a beat.

Once Hank pulled into the area you were all supposed to be, you sighed rubbing your hands over your face. You hear your door open and turn to see Connor looking at you holding the door open.

"Uhhh, thank you, Connor." You say as he nods. "You're welcome Detective." You step out the car and see Hank walking up to Ben. Once you're out the car, Connor shuts the door for you.

You walk over to where Hank and Ben are besides them was a man, you assumed he was a witness. "We've already got officers sweeping the neighbourhood, incase anyone saw something." Ben said to Hank.

"Ok, well let us know if they turn anything up." Hank replied

"...What are you going to do with that?" Ben asks, glancing at Connor. "I've got no idea... cup of tea seems to like him though." Hank replies, smirking at you. "I'm just trying to be nice to our new partner." You reply through gritted teeth.

You both walked back towards the car, you look at Connor, whose LED was whirling a yellow colour, like he was in deep thought. "It took the first bus that came along..." Connor began as you stared at him. "... and stayed at the end of the line. It's decision wasn't planned, it was driven by fear."

"Pff, Androids don't feel fear." Hank said as you shook your head. "You saw the Deviant Connor interrogated he looked scared so..." you began but stopped.

"Deviants do. They get overwhelmed by there emotions and make irrational decisions." Connor explained confirming what you were going to say.

Hank nodded. "Ah, well still doesn't tell us where it went." You started looking around the area at any possibility. "It didn't have a plan, and had no where to go." Connor continued.

"Surely it hasn't gone very far then, right?" You asked as Connor looked at you. "Exactly, Detective." He then looked away from you as you followed his gaze towards an abandoned building on the other side of the road, surrounded by a tall fence.

"You wanna check it out?" You asked as Connor nodded at you and began to cross the road, you and Hank follow behind him. Connor reaches a gate and opens it, the both of you still following him. You noticed an abandoned car and peaked inside it, there was nothing.

"Hey." Connor calls out to you and Hank. "There's a freshly cut hole in this fence, with traces of Thirium on it. The Deviant must've been here."

"Well the two of you go ahead, I'll stay here and look around some more." Hank said, crossing his arms. "You just don't want to crawl under a fence." You say crossing your arms too. "You're like what 21, your young I'm not." Hank grumbles. "I'm 24." You say as he shrugs.
