Rain drops hitting the windshield were the only noise you were listening to as Hank pulled up to the main place you two would eat, Chicken Feed. He puts the car in park, turning it off and getting out not saying a word to you. You sit there silently for a moment before opening the door to follow Hank.

You walk up behind Hank as he talks to the one and only Pedro. "Come on, this is different, it's one hundred percent guaranteed. You can't go wrong." Pedro said to Hank as he glanced at you. "Yeah, right... he said that last time didn't he cup of tea?" Hank asked as you nodded and Hank sighed. "Alright, I'm in." Hank said pulling some cash out his pocket as Pedro looked at you.

"Damn straight! You in Y/N?" He asks you as you raise an eyebrow at him. "I tell you no everytime and yet you still ask." You say as he shrugs. "Worth a shot. You won't regret this!" Pedro calls out as he walks away looking over his shoulder.

You roll your eyes at Hank as you notice Connor coming up beside the two of you. "What is your problem?" Hank asked Connor, extremely annoyed. "Don't you ever do as your told? Look, you don't have to follow me or Y/N around like a poodle!" He sighs then turns his attention towards the TV just inside the food truck.

"I'm sorry for my behaviour at the Police Station. I didn't mean to be unpleasant." Connor said, apologetically. Hank then chuckles at this.

"Oh, wow... you've even got a brown-nosing apology program." He says, smiling, while you try to hold in a laugh.

Hank Status: Warm but rising

"Guys at CyberLife thought of everything, huh?" Hank chuckles as Gary, the cook of the food truck, gives Hank his food and drink. "Thanks Gary. I'm starving..." Hank said after he pays for his food. "Anything for you Y/N?" He asks as you tap your foot in thought. "Just my usual drink please, I'm not that hungry." You say as he nods and begins making your drink.

"Thank you." You say as you pay him and pick up your drink, while Hank starts walking away. "Don't leave that thing here!" Gary says as he points at Connor. "Huh, not a chance! Follows me and cup of tea everywhere." Hank said. "But it's mostly attached to her."

"He just doesn't though, you think you're so funny." You say, as Hank laughs at you. You turn to leave until you feel Gary stop you, you notice out the corner of your eye Connors LED go red. "I was wondering, if you'd be interested in going out sometime?" He asked you.

You knew Gary had maybe just a small thing for you, Hank always suggested he was a nice guy. You weren't going to deny he was nice, because he was had been since you became Hanks partner. But you just really weren't interested for more than one reason.

"I... uh... it sounds tempting, but I'm just not interested... sorry." You reply as you see Connors LED go back to blue. "What? Why?" Gary asked you, confused.

"I... I mean I'm quite a busy person, I'm a Police Detective. Besides even if I wasn't I still don't think I'd be interested." You say, confidently.

"You won't even give me one chance?" Gary says, pleading to you. You stand there awkwardly thinking of the easiest way to let him down. "I do believe, she said she's not interested. So, it would be in your best interest, to leave her alone." Connor said, firmly as you turn to look at him, surprised.

Y/N Status: Warm but rising

"Oh, I get it now. You're with the piece of plastic, huh?" Gary asks as you turn to see him glaring at you. "I... I don't know how you came to that conclusion, but I literally just met him yesterday." You began as Gary rolled his eyes at you. "I'm just not interested in you like that."
