It had been two weeks since the revolution, Kai had shut down by his own choice. He wrote you a letter explaining why he did it, for some strange reason you understood why, you were upset at first but Connor supported you the whole time. So did Hank the best he could, he knew what loss was like and how much it hurt.

Since then the three of you had gone back to work at the DPD, they were more than happy to have Connor there, even Fowler seemed kind of happy that such an advanced Android wanted to work here still. Many people still hadn't come back however, which meant your shifts were longer because there was less staff. But you didn't mind it meant you got to spend a lot of time with Hank and Connor.

Connor still sat with you at your desk even though you told him, he could have his own one now, you knew he just liked being close to you, and honestly you liked being close to him too.

Currently, you were both sat waiting for Hank to show up. "Detective, may I stay at yours tonight?" Connor asked as you turned to look at him. "You don't have to ask, you literally have a key." You replied with an eyebrow raised. "But it's still your house, Detective."

"You know for someone whose supposed to be more intelligent than humans you can be pretty, well, stupid." You said with a laugh as Connor looks away from you. "I didn't mean to upset you."

Connor turns back to look at you, his face full of embarrassment. "You haven't, I'm just sorry I keep asking I'm not used to..."

"Being able to do what you want, when you want." You finish for him as he nods. "It's only been two weeks Connor, I get it." You said as he moves his chair closer to yours and leans his head on your right shoulder. "Thank you, for understanding." Connor says as you move your left hand and start to play with his hair, he let out a soft sigh.

"Seriously, I just got here and you two are already all over each other." You heard Hanks voice call out, you went to remove your hand from Connors hair but he stops you. "Urgh... Jesus, I'm about to change my mind about us all going out tonight."

"Hey! Blame him, he's the one leaning on me." You said as Hank sits in his chair and looks at Connor, shaking his head. "Connor, get your head off of her." Said Hank.

"But I'm happy here..." Connor mumbled.

You remove your hand from his hair and said. "I don't really want to get into trouble, I love you, but I also love my job." Connor sighs and lifts his head off of your shoulder.

"You three my office now!" You hear Fowler call out from behind you, both you and Connor spin your chairs to look at him. "Stop gawking at me and get in here!"

The three of you head to Fowlers office as you close the door behind you. Connor nods at the chair next to Hank indicating you to sit down. "We've got our first homicide report since the revolution, this one involves Androids."

"What do you mean?" You asked as Fowler sighed. "An Android was killed, I need you three to go there now. Chris is already there waiting for you." Fowler explains as you look behind you at Connor whose LED was red.

"Have you told Markus?" You then asked turning back to Fowler, he nods in response. "People couldn't even wait a month could they?" Hank said, angrily. "If it was a human that killed the Android, it would make sense many people still hate our species for the revolution."

"Come on, we should hurry." You said as the three of you start to leave the office, you walk towards the front of the station, in silence. "Connor, are you okay?" You ask Connor who nods not looking at you.

"Son, you don't have to lie to us." Hank called out to him. "I'm not lying." Connor replies continuing to walk forward. "Whose car are we taking?" He then asks.
