Normally the base of the Star Sanses was quiet, and had its loud moments, though for this particular day it was silent. The Stars were a handful, but they'd never be one for the quiet type.Dream wasn't aware of this, however, he read books during his rather peaceful day. There could've been either Swap or Ink coming to him for doing something entertaining, as he was the skeleton who was the leader. Still, it didn't meant he was the entertainer.
Swap, in other words, had not been awake. He took a nap for his break, passing out as soon as when he heard the hums of Dream's voice lulling him to sleep. Maybe he forgot to tell Papyrus that he wasn't coming back sooner, but even so he had such a wonderful nap.
The positivity guardian sighed as he closed his now finished book, glancing around his room and back to the small skeleton's skull on his lap. He frowned, looking out the window for a sign of another frolicking.
"Swap," Dream softly whispered. He shook the other's shoulder and awaited for him to awake. Not a moment later, Swap squirmed and blinked his eye sockets open slowly.
"Dream?" The royal guard croaked out, rubbing one of his sockets. He exhaled and smiled lazily-surprisingly-at his friend.
"Hey. Where did Ink go?" The skeleton asked. He continued to look out the window in worry, wondering when the protector will get back soon.
It was no wonder that Dream was a motherly type of friend. Though he can't help it, he can't stop worrying after his two teammates and healing them after a small cut. Maybe it was the guilt from his brother that left him with this, the feeling of not being useful for younger-or rather one-beings.
"I don't know.. probably at Nightmare's place.." The guard replied, beginning to fall back to sleep once again. However, it wasn't as easy as it seems.
"Oh, alright." Dream relaxed back into the comfort of the bed. He was confused onto why Ink would leave to his brother's place, also when he's staying there for more than half of the day. But then the guardian jolted up suddenly, staring with wide eye sockets at Swap. "Wait what-!"
"Dream, please." The skeleton in blue chuckled, pressing the now worried one back down. "He's okay, most likely having the time of his life if he's away for this long."
"But what if he's not?!" And that is where it lead for Dream to find his friend.
The guardian kicked down both the doors off their hinges and heaved out a couple heavy breaths. Swap eventually came up next to him in alarm, trying to calm the skeleton down and leave the castle.
"Ink!" Dream shouted. He sprinted to the open immense living room and jumped to kick at his target's skull. A crack resounded the area as he got back up to glare at the skeleton before him. His eye lights pierced into the other's in silent aggression.
"Argh! Dream, what the hell!" Ink whined, rubbing his slightly cracked head subconsciously. The artist also held a controller in his other hand.
"You got me worried sick!" The skeleton in yellow crossed his arms, daring the other to say something about his disappearance.
"Geez. I was only playing video games with these three." Ink huffed, gesturing to the game on the big screen.
"You played games for five hours?!"
"What? Like I didn't know the time!"
