"Are you afraid?" he asked, forcing out a laugh as the people screamed and begged for help around him. The skeleton brought his arms out and grinned down at the guardian below. "This is their story! This is their purpose, Dreamboat!"
Dream breathed in shaky breaths, clutching his torso from the harmful negativity coming out of the monsters and humans. He grunted in pain, glaring at the other who he was friends with.
"I knew I shouldn't have helped you, Ink." he sighed, although winced at how much the action hurt him. The protector blinked dumbly before bursting into laughter.
"That was always a mistake from day one! You were just too naive to notice." they smirked, flicking the guardian's skull and sticking their tongue at him. "However, this condition you're in right now is really interesting, I cannot wait to see what happens next!"
"You're a idiot."
"You're the one who foolishly came here in the first place, Dream."
