This isn't very good, but there just isn't enough period typical trans characters in this fandom atm and I just needed it in existence right now.

I hate how this turned out, but I typically write modern stuff and I wanted to put this out there for a sense of representation in the fandom even if it isn't like outwardly said.

Finney knows he isn't like other kids. It isn't even a big realization when he realizes why, either. He just knew and was okay with that.

Even if it meant he'll always hear her name and when she'll get a boyfriend. Finn longs for when his name will be more than just something Gwen passes off as a nickname.

The moment he realized he wasn't like other kids was watching Robin fight Moose for him, Robin's strong, Robin's able to stand up for himself, Robin's able to say he's a boy without being told it's a phase. Robin's able to like girls without it being a thing.

Finn's weak, Finn isn't able to stand up for himself, Finn isn't able to say he's a boy without being told it's a phase. Finn can't like Robin and Donna, without it being a thing. Because he's a girl. And he loves him.

No matter how much Finn asks, begs, and craves, to wake up and be able to say he's a boy, he won't ever have that luxury.

Finn just wants this one thing, and it's sad that he can't have it.

But, he'll be okay with just the knowledge of knowing why he never felt a sense of belonging during his upbringing.

I probably shouldn't of wrote this, but I did.
