The girls panicked for a second while debating on whether they should open the door, but quickly decided it wouldn't hurt to check when the person had knocked a third time, this time more frantic causing them to worry.

Maia cracked open the door slowly only for it to be pulled back hurriedly, revealing Lucky who was hunched over gasping for air—The girl hopped in slamming the door behind her. "Drive right now" she tossed out urgently.

"Girl what?" Raquel asked turning to the back seat looking at Lucky confused, the same way all the girls did because what else could you do at the sight of a mad woman.

Maias heart beat sped up when she realized Lucky had her hand placed over her stomach that couldn't help but to leak blood. Her eyes widened as she panicked—before she remembered she was trained for situations like these. Maia quickly hopped into action pulling out paper towel that sat on the floor of Raquel's car.

"Just drive !" Lucky yelled this time between clenched teeth her eyes cold with no emotion, Raquel caught on to what was happening in the backseat and not wanting to argue back again she promptly put the car in drive and sped off down the street.

"What the hell happened to you?" Angie's voice echoed from the front while Maia packed paper towels on top of the wound where the blood seem to be oozing from on Lucky. Lucky's face stayed cold as she watched the girl work in a panic disregarding the question from the girl in the front.

"What are you doing ?" Lucky asked while she placed a hand on Maia's arm trying to remove the hold she had on her torso.

"Your bleeding" Maia said, she thought it should be impossible to be as calm as Lucky was— considering the situation she was in right now.

"I'll be fine" she responded placing her hand where Maia just held hers. "Make a left at the end here" Lucky spoke her gaze now focused on the road. Lucky stayed calm, while the other girls were in complete disbelief at how she didn't pay mind to the wound— that slowly created a puddle on the seat she sat in.

Raquel turned left mindlessly following directions. She hoped Lucky was giving her directions to the nearest emergency room due to the state she was in— but Lucky had other things in mind. The girls sat quiet while Lucky continued to call out directions ignoring Maia who was staring at her so hard, she could feel her eyes burning holes into the side of her head.

Lucky continued to ignore the girl until they pulled into a dead end that she had directed them to. "Stop right here" she said, the car slowed down next to a big Jeep that was blacked out facing in the opposite direction.

Lucky exited the car not saying a word. The girls watched through the window as they seen her disappear into the car that sat across the street. The car pulled off quickly after Lucky got in.

"What fuck just happened?" Angie asked her mouth dropped open in disbelief.

"That bitch is crazy" Raquel added still staring out her window just as confused. They both looked into the back seat where Maia sat quiet not saying a word. She was covered in the girls blood and she didn't as much as say thank you for Maia's attempts to keep her from bleeding out in the car. She wasn't sickened from the blood since she was used to seeing it daily—in the hospital she worked as a trauma resident, she was the youngest in her class at only twenty four—which only happened since she'd been skipped grades a few times since the girl was exceptionally smart. She spent two years there seeing patients come in, and in way worse conditions at times.

Instead it made her sick that the girl
had just up and left without a word. It upset Maia that she would have to wonder if the girl was going to be alright. Her injuries looked severe even though she played it off as if nothing happened.
