"Katniss!" Annie exclaims and comes over to me. We hug.

"Annie! How are you?" I ask as she goes to sit back down and I grab a chair from across the room. I ignore Haymitch right now.

"I'm good. How are you?" She responds. I smile and look down at my hands before looking back up at her.

"I'm ok, I guess." She puts one of her hands on my knee for comfort.

"I'm sorry for what happened with Peeta and Ga.." I cut her off before she can finish,

"Please don't say his name?" That was suppose to be a order but it can out more as a question.

"Of course, I'm sorry."

"Its fine." She smiles bright at me and I smile back. "So how is little Finn?" Finn is Annie's son. I feel sorry for him because he doesn't have a father to look up to in his life.

"He's good, looks just like his father." I see a tear slide down her cheek. "Every time I look at Finn I think of him" she adds. "And.." I cut her off,

"You don't have to talk about it." I say and hug her. I hug her for a few minutes before I hear someone clear their throat. I pull away and look toward the sound.

"Sweetheart you cant ignore me forever." Haymitch says. I glare at him and respond

"Well you abandoned me on the train." He chuckles.

"Don't forget who saved you."

"Fine! I don't want to argue right now, so I just got one question." I say.

"Which is?" He asks.

"What was so important that you had to get?"

"There was nothing important that I had to get." My fists clench.

"Then what were you doing!" I yell.

"Shhh! Don't yell. And if Peeta saw that I was with you then he might have thought that I had dragged you along with me." He explains. I guess that does make sense. But still he could have told me what he was going to do.

"You still could have told me what you were going to do." I say.

"Oh! I guess I could have. Remind me next time, ok sweetheart?"

"Next time?!?" He can't honestly think that there is going to be a next time.

"Haymitch!" Annie snaps. "Katniss don't worry. There isn't going to be a next time." She reassures me. I sigh and take a seat back in the chair. I look over at Peeta and see that he is paler than he was earlier. I can hear Annie tell Haymitch off for giving me a scare saying that there would be a next time, but I'm not paying attention to them. All I'm paying attention to is Peeta. The boy with the bread that saved my life all those years ago. The one person that has kept me sane since that rebellion, scared off the nightmares since the train ride to the Capital for the Quarter Quell. I snap out of my trance when I hear someone say my name.

"what?" I ask.

"I said that I have to go back to District 12 to feed the geese, but I'll be back when I'm done." Haymitch stands up and walks out the door. I turn to Annie.

"I have to go pick up Finn from a friends house now." Annie stands up and starts heading for the door but she turns back around. "would you like to come? you haven't seen Finn yet." I smile and nod. We walk out the door and go down the hallway when I bump into someone.

"oh, I'm sorry." I say and help them pick up their papers. I see  the persons blond hair fall and look at their face. "oh! hi mum." I say. I finish grabbing the last piece of paper and stand up and hand them to mum.
