Before you read i just want to say that Prim is still alive. She did not blow up but Gale did throw a knife at her and badly injured her.

PEETA'S P.O.V

I wake up earlier than usually hoping Katniss is still asleep. I look over at the other side of the bed and find a sleeping Katniss. Good, now only if i can walk to the bathroom without waking her. I slowly get up and quietly walk to the bathroom. When i get into the bathroom i strip bare and hop in the shower.Every second I'm in here I'm hoping Katniss won't wake up. After about 10 minutes I get out of the shower. I grab a towel and wrap it around my waist. I look around for my cloths but I can't find them. SHIT! I forgot them. Walking to the bathroom door i take little quiet steps. When i reach the door I slowly open it and find Katniss still sleeping peacefully. I start to smile when i see her because she looks so cute when she sleeps. About 5 minutes later I remember i need cloths. I quickly but quietly go to the closet and grab a plain shirt  and pants. I quickly get back in the bathroom, put on my cloths, brush my teeth and hair. Katniss makes a childish noise. It sounded so cute so i'm guessing she is dreaming about her and Prim. We see Prim once a month but other than that she helps their mom in District 4. Which is fine with Katniss as long as she gets to see her little duck. 

I give Katniss a quick kiss an the forehead and walk downstairs. While i'm making a sandwich i decide not to leave Katniss a note of where I'm going. It's not that I don't want to see her, it's just I don't want her to find out about the date I'm planning for us too early. To make sure she doesn't find out i will have to tell Haymitch not to tell her if she goes over there. I grab my boots and jacket and head out the door.

When i get to Haymitchs i don't bother to knock. I just push the door open. When i walk in all i see is junk. Cloths, food, beer bottles etc.

"Haymitch!" i call. No answer. I hear the TV on so i walk up to the living room. Which is filled with junk too. Gosh how does he leave in here. I look over and see Haymitch sitting on the couch with a beer in one hand flipping through channels non stop. "having fun?" i ask. That makes him jump. I snicker a liitle.

"WHAT THE HELL! YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!" he barks.

"sorry." i say.

"whatever. what do you want?" he asks.

"oh ummm well I'm planning a date for me and Katniss so if she comes by here please don't tell her anything." i plead.

"Kay. whatever." he says annoyed. Gosh i asked for a simple favour and hes already annoyed. With that i just leave without saying anything else.

I start walking down to the bakery. I say hi to a few people on my way and they say hi and ask how me and Katniss have been. I said perfect and everyone who asked smiled big. When i reach the bakery i walk in and take out some flour, icing and everything else i need. I start mixing ingredients and put the mix in circles. Finally i put them in the oven and wait for them to bake. Half an hour later i take out the cookies and they are perfect. I take them off the tray and wrap them up putting ribbon around them and making a bow at the top. I'm about to leave when someone stops me. I look up and find the face i never in my life wanted to see again. Gale.

Ummm so tell me what you think. I know its boring right now but it will pick up. This is only my first book i'v written so ya.
