¤ (Y/n)'s Point Of View ¤

We ran to Yuuji's school as if the floors were collapsing behind us, Megumi and I both filled with panic and dread with every step we got closer to the school. Yuuji led the way, scaring me with how close he was from danger. If I could get in there first, I could get the curses to leave and this would all be over. But if Megumi gets in there first, they'll turn hostile before I can do anything about it.

"Is that the building?! Where are they?!" Megumi yelled out as we neared the school. I had only been here a handfull of time and always just by the front gate as I waited for Yuuji. This wasn't how I wanted to enter his school for the first time. I only wish that it were under far better circumstances. Yuuji pointed towards the top of the building as we ran, forcing us to crane our necks up.

"4th floor!" Yuuji yelled, guilding us down the path that led down to the school only for us to walk through the outer edge of immense cursed energy. It felt like walking through a wall, though it was probably slightly painful for Yuuji. Megumi and I stumbled back in shock, now seeing the dark cloud of cursed energy that was radiating off of the school. I suspect that they already ripped off the binding parchment from Sukuna's finger.

"What's this pressure?" Yuuji asked in awe, looking down at his hands as if he'd be able to see the cursed energy waves passing through his fingers.
"We'll handle this." Megumi told Yuuji as we stood outside the gate, making Yuuji stare at him in confusion.
"We?" Yuuji repeated, looking around for another person who wore the same uniform as Megumi.

Megumi looked over to me, making me shake my head lightly but unnoticeably. If there was a chance that Megumi could handle this himself, I'd still be able to keep Yuuji away from this. And if Megumi couldn't handle it, I'm sure Yuuji would want to bust in anyway. Either way, I can't draw attention to me being a sorcerer until there's no point in lying anymore. Untill I know the outcome of this all, if Yuuji will walk away unharmed or be dragged to far into this hole to climb out.

"I mean, me and my shikigami." Megumi covered, making me sigh in relief. Yuuji then slowly realised that this didn't mean him which made him complain.
"What? No way! I'm coming too!" Yuuji exclaimed loudly, pushing forwards to Megumi with much determination.
"I may not know those two that well but they're friends. I have to help them." Yuuji told us, making me purse my lips in guilt. If only I got here alone and much sooner, nobody would be in danger.

"You're staying here." Megumi finalised, not letting Yuuji have his way. Yuuji groaned and put his arms over head head with frustation. I took this as my chance to quietly converse with Megumi as Yuuji had gotten distracted.
"Are you sure you can handle this alone?" I whispered to him, worry in my voice. I know I willingly backed out of going with him to save myself, but I wouldn't have done so if I didn't have utmost faith in him.

"If I can't, you'll be the first to know." Megumi mumbled back, making me sigh worriedly. He knew that wouldn't ease my mind in the slightest. Megumi then jumped over the fence, leaving me and Yuuji just to watch him at the bottom. I felt conflicted. Do I risk my lies with Yuuji and follow after him, revealing everything about me that I tried to hide? Or do I stay here and help secretly when Yuuji undoubtedly wants to follow?

I watched in suspence as Megumi disappeared into the draft of the cursed energy around the school. Yuuji walked up from behind me, keeping his eyes training on the 4th floor where his friends probably were.
"What do you think he's doing in there?" Yuuji asked me softly, making me shrug which was honestly the truth. If Yuuji's friends were in danger, Megumi would put killing the curses before saving them. That was always the way of jujutsu sorcerers- and it was stupid.
