¤ 3rd Point Of View ¤
Weeks passed like summer rain, sweet and blissful. Things got easier as time went by, both Yuuji and (Y/n) getting used to a routine. Yuuji trained with Gojo for the first half of the day while (Y/n) either spent time at the academy or on a mission. They'd have lunch together at a place convenient for them both, before they each went back to train.
At first, it was awkward between Yuuji and (Y/n). Yuuji felt guilty for keeping a major secret from her, and (Y/n) caught on instantly. She wasn't angry with him for keeping this secret- though, she wasn't sure if she'd feel the same when she found out. But she understood that Gojo must be keeping him quiet. And if it really was that bad of a secret, then she was sure that Yuuji was too scared to tell her.
As for Gojo himself, (Y/n) admits that she still feels bitter around him. Something was just off in the balance between them and she hated it. She tried to shake it off, but it never worked. So she avoided him most of the time, leaving the room after a simple hello. It was easier that way instead of subjecting them both to a tense situation.
These days (Y/n) mostly slept at the hotel with Yuuji. It was just easier that way. Sukuna wouldn't have to warp to her bedroom to her every night because she'd be asleep right beside him instead. He kept to his word about training her, allowing her 4 or 5 hours of sleep before waking her up. He didn't comment on the fact that she cuddled up to him everynight (technically Yuuji), infact he didn't really mind it. But he wouldn't tell her that.
(Y/n)'s been training hard everynight, getting better and better at absorbing cursed energy to the point where she could take almost all of Sukuna's cursed energy now. She no longer passed out or struggled. Sukuna was proud- but once again, he'd never tell her that.
"You're not concentrating." Sukuna accused, glaring down at the girl who looked off into the mountain side, her mind clearly elsewhere.
"I am." (Y/n) denied, her head turning back to face him. His hand never left her shoulder, feeding her cursed energy as she pretended to pay more attention to this training session.
"You're daydreaming." Sukuna corrected, his brow lifting. She's been daydreaming more and more. He knew what was on her mind because it's the same thing that has been on her mind since three weeks ago.
"I just keep thinking about Gojo." (Y/n) admitted, chewing on her lower lip.
"Six eyes?" Sukuna asked, never having been the best remembering names.
"Last month he warned me to stop being curious and it just...it just makes me more curious." (Y/n) admitted softly.
"And yet you haven't acted upon your curiousity." Sukuna mused.
"I'm scared." (Y/n) then whispered in response.
"I'm scared that whatever I found out...might change everything." (Y/n) admitted softly. Sukuna looked down at her, his eyes squinting slightly.
"What are you trying to accuse him of? Killing your clan?" Sukuna then asked straightforwardly, making (Y/n)'s eyes go wide with shock immediately, shaking her hands with denial.
"No! Of course not! He would never!" (Y/n) explained before gulping. She then lowered her gaze to the ground and her eyes went darker with doubt.
"I don't know...maybe?" The girl then mumbled softly, biting her inner cheek.
"If he did...I don't think it was because he wanted to. The higher ups probably forced him to. He's the only person I know that could be strong enough to annihilate an entire clan." She elaborated.
Sukuna simply hummed in response, not at all hinting to whether her sudden theory was even mildly correct or not.
"What do you think?" She then asked Sukuna, looking up at him with a frown. Sukuna sighed, inhaling deeply.
"I think...you're ready to unleash the queen of curses." Sukuna told her, smirking when (Y/n)'s eyes went wide with suprise.
