"So, what have you been doing lately?" Megumi asked me curiously. We were both a lot calmer now, sitting closely beside eachother on the benches at the side of the training ground.
"You know...just keeping myself busy." I told him, deflecting the question in hopes Megumi would come up with his own conclusions. But his raised brow suggested that I had to elaborate.

"Nanami's been constantly sending me on missions. It's been helping." I told him with a small comforting smile in which he replied with an understanding nod.
"How about you and Nobara? What have you two been up to?" I asked him, genuinely having no idea- and I've had no recent contact with Gojo to ask him about it either. Besides, I'm sure Gojo would have just run to Megumi and told him that I was worried about him.

"Nothing crazy, just training for the Kyoto event. You know how it is." Megumi replied tiredly, looking up into the sky as he spoke. I nodded slowly. I almost forgot the Kyoto exchange event was coming up. The day that Yuuji would reveal that he was alive- and Megumi would probably never trust me again. It was in just over a month and there was plenty of time to worry about it later I suppose.

"And how have you and Nobara been handing...what happend? Better than me, I hope?" I asked him, no word needed to explain what I was talking about. Yuuji's 'death'. I just hoped Megumi's been handling it well- well enough that I wouldn't feel so guilty.
"Honestly, I think Nobara took it the best out of all of us. I guess she barely knew him, so it makes sense..." Megumi told me with a breathless chuckle. He was deflecting.

"And you?" I prodded, asking again. Megumi sighed, keeping his head leaned back and his eyes on the sky.
"I just can't seem to get his last words out of my head..." He mumbled. I looked down at my lap, biting me inner cheek. I guess that meant he wasn't handing it well. Megumi didn't elaborate so I didn't pry. I wasn't sure what Yuuji's last words were to him, I only got close enough to hear what he said to me- I hadn't realised he said something to Megumi too. I should ask him later.

"But he was a good guy...Yuuji." Megumi mumbled sadly, makung me nod.
"Yeah." I whispered weakly. This physically hurt to know that Megumi was hurting over this. I wish I hadn't asked. Ignorance is bliss, right?
"You- uh said you've been on constant missions, right?" Megumi then asked suddenly, clearing his throat as he frantically changed the subject. I nodded, pretending not realise that he was changing the subject so that he wouldn't get emotional.

"Do you need any help with the stains? I've still got a bit of time before visiting hours." Megumi asked me. I almost forgot that he planned to go and see his sister today- but still, he thought of my needs too. And usually, I'd take him up on his offer. But I've already gotten rid of most of the staining yesterday night at the Vietnamese restaurant. I couldn't eat my food in public with my arms very noticeably stained red, could I?

"Actually, I scrubbed my arms intensely yesterday night." I told him with a grateful smile, pulling up my sleeves so that he could see my inner arms. They were cleaner than ever, and smoother than marble. Megumi froze once he saw my arms, his eyes widening. I looked at him with confusion as he baffledly pulled my arm closer to his face.
"W-what?" I asked, nervously chuckling.
"Your...scars?" He mumbled out with confusion. My eyes widened slightly as I realised what he was refering to. Sukuna healed my scars after Yuuji's death, Megumi had no idea.

"Oh! Uh, I-um healed them." I stuttered out, cursing myself for how unconfident I seemed. Megumi's eyes seemed to burst out of their sockets after my lie.
"You what?!" The boy retorted loudly.
"I improved my healing technique recently." I told him, telling him the same lie I told Gojo and Nanami. I could imagine their faces if they found out it was Ryomen Sukuna healing me.
