¤ (Y/n)'s Point Of View ¤

I was confused, staring at Sukuna with furrowed brows. Did he just say that he was going to fix how weak I am? What was that supposed to even mean?
"How are you going to fix the fact that I'm weak?" I asked him incredulously, making him chuckle as he leaned further back into his throne, his red eyes glinting with amusement.

"I'm going to train you. Wasn't that obvious?" Sukuna asked sarcastically, making me scoff loudly with doubt.
"You? Train me? Are you joking?" I retorted, mimicking his sarcasm that Sukuna only raised his brow at- answering me with a look that said 'what do you think?'. That made me sit up, looking up him nervously from my spot on the floor.

"Wait...you're serious?" I asked hesitantly.
"Why would you want to train me?" I asked with a chuckle of disbelief, Sukuna shaking his head as of he were dissapointed in my lack of understanding. But to be fair, having the king of curses himself train me seemed a bit too hard to believe off the bat.
"Think about about it, pet. If you brought a guard dog home, you'd want it at it's best, wouldn't you say?" He replied cockily, knowing exactly what he was saying to me.

I huffed and glared at him intently.
"You're reducing me to a dog?" I asked him bitterly, making him chuckle and lean forward. Sukuna then used one of his hands to grab me by the face, squishing me cheeks together as he cocked his head ever so playfully.
"Does that turn you on?" Sukuna smirked, making me scoff and slap his hand away from my cheeks.

"You're insufereable." I grumbled as Sukuna leaned back into his throne.
"Yet you're still here." Sukuna retorted pointedly, making me get defensive.
"I can't leave unless you send me away." I fought back, seeming passionate yet another part of me begged that he would realise that I didn't want to leave.
"Then I'll send you away." Sukuna said simply, lifting his hand as he prepared himself to flick his wrist and force me back into reality.

"No, don't!" I panicked, lunnging forwards and instantly gripping onto his hand to stop him from making me leave. Sukuna then raised his brow at me, making me sigh and let go of his hands. That was just pathetic, (Y/n). Sukuna lowered his hand with a small exhale, not seeming to want to send me away anymore which was a relief.

"You're becoming more of a nuisance than I signed up for." Sukuna muttered tiredly, making me roll my eyes.
"Maybe you should have thought about that before you shakled us together with a pact." I told him sarcastically, showing him the mark on my wrist for reference.
"Pipe down on the sarcasm if you really don't want me to send you away." Sukuna threatened, raising his brow in warning. I sighed, backing down instantly. That threat was dirty.

"Okay, fine. So, when are you going to start training me?" I asked him, making back to that topic. I was still in doubt.
"At night, while the brat and the sorcerer sleep." Sukuna answered nonchalantly.
"Why only then?" I asked him. There were other times of the day that I could train alone, so then why just while everyone else was fast asleep? Sukuna grinned at my question.

"That way if you kill them, you won't hear them scream." The man smirked, making me gasp with pure shock.
"Sukuna!" I exclaimed loudly in a suprised scolding tone as he burst out in laughter. It was weird to see him laugh like this. But it was good, it meant that he wasn't serious about that last comment of his. At least, I hoped.
"You won't kill them, pet." Sukuna chuckled out, reassuring me that it was all just a twisted joke.

"Promise me." I demanded, not completely trusting the king of curses on such loosely compiled words alone. Sukuna's brow raised at my demand, in both suprise and curiousity.
"I don't make promises, little (L/n). I'm the King of curses." He chuckled darkly, leaning his hesd on his fist as he stared down at me. I rolled my eyes at his arrogance, scoffing lightly.

"I don't care if you're the King of curses, an elder or a fucking tree. I need you to promise me that you won't let me lose control and kill everyone that I love." I exclaimed angrily, looking up at him with strong and unwielding eyes. I looked determinded and confident but I was sure that he could probabaly see the undertone fear hiding behind the red. Sukuna looked amused by my outburst, but yet he did not reply nor laugh- just simply staring at me.

"And if I cannot guarantee such a promise?" He asked back.
"You could. You just don't want to." I replied weakly, begging that he'd make me this promise. Sukuna's brow raised again at the audacious comment.
"And why do you think that?" He challenged, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for me to speak.
"Because this is not a pact. It's a promise where you'll get nothing in return." I told him.

I could see the suprise in his eyes even with him being quick to hide it, seeming almost impressed that I knew what was going through his mind right now.
"As well as you know me Sukuna, I know you." I told him softly, making him sigh. He stayed silent for a few moment, lost in thought. After shooting me a quick glare, he finally began to speak.
"Fine. I agree to your wretched little promise." Sukuna finally agreed, making me smile.

"Only because I know that if I do not, then you'll refuse to be trained." He added quickly, wanting me to understand that none of this was for me.
"Pinky promise?" I sugested, holding up my pinky. Sukuna then looked down at it with both disgust and confusion.
"What?" The curse then asked. So I grabbed onto his hand a forced him into a pinky promise. His brows furrowed as he watched me forcefully intwine out fingers. He didn't pull away, no matter how disgusted he seemed by my actions.

"This is a pinky promise. Remember it." I told him before letting go of his hand. Sukuna scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"That's idiotic." The man commented, making me sigh as I leaned back so that I wad laying down once again. We fell into a comfortable silence after that. I knew he was probably staring at me and yet, that didn't make it tense in any way. It seemed we were both in our own train of thoughts. Mine revolving around Yuuji.

"Is Yuuji awake?" I asked Sukuna suddenly, hoping he'd say no.
"Yes." He replied, making my eyes screw shut with anxiety and dread.
"I don't want to go back." I mumbled.
"If you stay here, those in the real world will think you're dead." Sukuna chuckled.
"At least I wouldn't have to face Yuuji again. His words really...hurt." I admitted bravely, Sukuna scoffing at the mention of my feelings.

"Then hide here, like you hid as that kid was killed." Sukuna retorted ruthlessly, making me sit up and glare.
"That's not fair!" I snapped.
"Nothing is fair, pet. And yet everything can be justified- like his anger." Sukuna told me, my anger fading immediately. He was right. That was starting to get annoying.
"Fine." I mumbled with a sigh.
"Send me back." I added weakly.

Sukuna didn't say another word, instead lifting his hand and flickering his wrist. Another a few moments later, I was laying back on that uncomfortable sofa. My eyes slowly peeled open once I fully grasped reality, my vision clearing up after a few blinks. That's when I noticed a figure sitting infront of me on a chair. Yuuji. He seemed distraught as he said,

"Can we talk?"
