¤ (Y/n)'s Point Of View ¤
"You can head in, Yuu. I'll be upstairs." I told him softly, motioning over to the hospital room where his two friends were in. We arrived at the hospital just a few minutes ago to visit Yuuji's two classmates that got injured during yesterday's events. They were both injured, the boy was unfortunatly still unconcious while the girl was luckily now healed enough to be able to stand by his side.
The sun has barely risen, the sky a nice whitewashed orange as the sun peaks out from over the cityscape. It was quite chilly, a cold breeze flowing through the open windows that we could feel here now, standing in the hallways.
"What for?" Yuuji asked me with a small hint of disappointment in his tone, a small frown on his face as he asked, probably thinking that I'd be with him the whole time."We forgot your grandpa's bag at the hospital yesterday when we ran out, remember?" I reminded him gently, making him awe in realisation.
"Oh yeah! I completely forgot about that." Yuuji mumbled, brushing his hand back through his long pink dyed hair as everything came back to him.
"Alright, call me when you're done." I told him, Yuuji kissing my cheek gently before he nodded in reply.Yuuji then turned and entered the room slowly, me turning around aswell and heading towards the staircase. I opened the door, peaking behind me just for a moment to comfirm that Yuuji had indeed gone inside the room. I then went through the doors to the stairs and began going uo the stairs to the 6th floor where Yuuji's grandpa's room used to be located.
I got to my destination in no time, already finding myself infront of the reception where the nurses sat.
"Hey, Tsumi. I left a bag here last night?" I began, wordlessly asking if she had seen it. Her eyes lit up in recognision, nodding immediately with a friendly smile and a confirming hum.
"Yeah! We were just about to call Yuuji. I kept it safe for you back here." She smiled, bending down to pull out the black dufflebag out from under the desk."Thank you!" I smiled, grabbing onto the bag that she handed to me from above the counter. I gave her a small bow of appreciation, always having found her as the nicest of the nurses here.
"No problem! Give Yuuji my best!" The girl smiled, making me nod.
"I will. Thank you and Kubashi for everything you've done for us." I told her greatfully, making her give me a sweet smile."No problem, have a good morning." She bidded, making me wish the same for her as I made my leave. I looked over at the lock screen of my phone, wondering if Yuuji had send me a text or called me. After realising he hadn't, I decided to head to the rooftop. The view up there was always the best in the morning, and since we had no reason to visit the hospital regularly anymore, this may be the last time I could do this.
I used the stairs to climb up to the top floor, using the side of my arm to push open the heavy door that made a loud creaking noise as it moved. After stepping out into the room, the door made a loud slam as it closed shut, making me cringe at the sound of scraping metal. I took a deep breath of fresh air as I stepped forward, enjoying the breeze that brushed over me as I walked.
I made my way to the railing, putting the dufflebag down at my feet before leaning my arms on the metal railings. From here you could see the whole of Tokyo, even a hint of the forests where Jujutsu tech was located. I closed my eyes with a blissful sigh, all my problems washing away with the wind. Ever since the events of yesterday, my anxiety has been acting up. I've started to feel anxious all the time which I hadn't felt since before I met Yuuji.
My arms naturally began rubbing against each other, the motion being a habit every time I got anxious or nervous. I unwrapped my bandages, now forcing myself to look down as I unvieled my bloodstained arms. The scratches from yesterday were beginning to heal. But even when then do, they will scar. And then the next time I go on a mission, there'll be fresh wounds once again.
