¤ (Y/n)'s Point Of View ¤

Kiyotaka drove us to a nearby meeting point that turned out to be a classroom owned by Jujutsu tech that was located in the middle of Tokyo centre. During the car ride there, Nanami went over the new information at the front seat of the car so that when we arrived at the classroom, he could brief us all at once. It was a shame that Gojo had other students to teach, Nanami could use some help.

"I've organised the reports concerning recent residules, unnatural deaths and dissapearances. This should narrow down the culprit's hideout to some extent." Nanami explained as he went through the stack of papers on the desk, pining a few to the pin board. This piece of information got Yuuji excited, him bouncing to his feet with a grin.
"Oh yeah! Are we storming in?!" He asked excitedly as he pumped his fist into the air.

"No, as I said it's only to some extent." Nanami replied bluntly as I gently tugged on Yuuji's hoodie untill he reluctantly sat back down in his chair.
"While I continue investigating this matter with (Y/n), I'd like you to handle a different task." Nanami said, now speaking directly to Yuuji. He wanted to investigate the location of the hideout with me? That doesn't seem likely at all.

"Aww, we're being seperated again?" Yuuji frowned with a sadened pout, unhappy that once again we couldn't go on a mission together. I wondered why Nanami chose for Yuuji not to join us in locating the curse's hideout. Was it because he didn't have faith in his power? But surely that couldn't be right if we were only narrowing down on the location?

Nanami did not reply to Yuuji, instead pulling out a picture of a boy that looked all too familiar to me. I recognised him from his shoulder length brown hair that covered his half his face, his chocolate brown orbs. I'd only met Junpei Yoshino twice and I'd actually call him an ally of the curses. Unlike Yuuji or Megumi, he didn't seem to hold any resentment towards curses. That was a hard quality to have these days.

"This is the boy who was at the theatre, Junpei Yoshino." Kento introduced as he pined Junpei's picture to the board.
"We've determined that he goes to the same highschool as the three victims." Nanami explained further as he turned on the tv screen with the black remote, showing surveillance footage from that night at the movie theatre. I wondered if Junpei asked Mahito to kill his classmates, or if it was simply a coincidence.

"Based on his actions and the way he carries himself in this surveillance footage, I believe it's unlikely that he's a curse user." Nanami guessed, us all silent as we watched the clips play on the screen. I think it's best that they realised Junpei was not a curse user, therefore identifying that he is not the mastermind behind it all.

"However, if he's related to the victims in someway that changes things..." Nanami continued, as if he read my mind. Did they really plan on punishing a kid for Mahito's doing? I'm usually always on the side of the curses, but Mahito didn't just have a curses agenda- he had something far more evil at play.
"Curse user?" Yuuji them mumbled out in confusion, turning to me for an explaination.

"It's the term for an evil jujutsu sorcerer." I told him, making him awe in realisation as he nodded slowly. Though I didn't understand why we called them curse users when we literally all used curses.
"I've entrusted the process to Ijichi here and I'd like the two of you to investigate Junpei together." Nanami ordered, now talking to Yuuji again. Yuuji stood uo and walked over to Ijichi, them both saluting to my dad together.

"Why can't I go with them?" I frowned, wanting to spend more time with Yuuji. Ever since Gojo left us with Kento, I haven't been spending much time with Yuuji. It was getting frustrating. I'm pretty sure I've spent more time with Sukuna at this point.
"We have a different matter to attend to- a much higher level task. I'll need your abilities." Nanami told me, making me nod. So I was right...he's already found their base.

"I trust Ijichi and Itadori can handle this small task while we're gone?" Nanami said, raising his brow at Ijichi who nodded confidently- somehow missing the belittling word in Nanami's sentence.
"Come to think of it, you're the only assistant we have as far as I know!" Yuuji exclaimed with realisation, turning towards to Ijichi with curiousity.

"Well, I am the only one of the assistants that knows you're still alive. So here I am!" Ijichi explained, making Yuuji nod as he held his hand over his chin.
"Alright, that makes sense." Yuuji agreed.
"You two are dimissed." Nanami sighed, waving them off as he leaned back against the chalk board.
"Good luck, babe! You're gonna do great!" Yuuji grinned as he gave me a thumbs up. I giggled at his enthusiasm.

"Right back at you!" I laughed, making him smile softly before opening the door.
"Let's go!" Yuuji yelled enthusiastically, holding his fist up into the air as he stormed away. Kiyotaka attempted to follow my boyfriend rushingly so that he wouldn't lose sight of his but then lost his balance the moment Yuuji came running back in the room.
"Oh, Sensei! I forgot to tell you, be careful out there!" Yuuji bidded my dad. I smiled at his thoughtfulness while Kento stayed silent for a few moments.

"Itadori. I'm not your sensei so please don't call me that." Kento sighed, making Yuuji purse his lips in thought.
"So...Kento-dude?" Yuuji asked in thought, making me burst out in quiet giggles as I didn't want to be caught laughing. But damn was this funny.
"I will slap you." Nanami said stoically, glaring at Yuuji. I couldn't help but chuckle even harder because I knew he really meant those words..

"Okay, get out of here you idiot!" I laughed, pushing Yuuji towards the door before Kento really got annoyed. Yuuji snuck a kiss to my cheek before running down the stairs with a laugh, Kiyotaka panicking to catch up with him. My smile faded the moment Yuuji was out of sight and I had closed the door to the classroom. I looked back towards Nanami who had the same look on his face.

"You lied to him..." I began softly, him not moving a single muscle that could confirm nor deny my accusation.
"You don't know the location 'to some extent', do you? You know it exactly." I accused with a small frown. Nanami sighed as he slipped off his sunglasses, showing his brown eyes to me that looked more green under this lighting.

"Of course. If the culprit had wanted to, he would have left the scene without leaving behind any residules at all. But he left all too many." Nanami said, me nodding in understanding.
"We're being lured in." I muttered out, Nanami humming in agreement.
"But that dosen't explain why you sent me on that mission this morming when you knew the curse wouldn't be there!" I fought, realising his actions.

"I needed you to see what this curse was capable of on your own." Nanami explained as he took out a wipe and began cleaning his glasses casually.
"Turning humans into puppets?" I asked him rhetorically, him nodding I still wasn't sure how I felt about that, or even about Mahito for that matter.
"Exactly." He agreed nonchalantly.

"Then why not have Yuuji come too? He's seen what the curse is capabale of aswell. He's made it clear that he's disgusted by it and every other curse for that matter." I said the last part with a bitter taste in my mouth that I couldn't quite get rid of.
"Weighing the risk of us storming in just the two of us versus taking a careless newbie like Itadori along? I simply made the safest choice. He is after all still learning about jujutsu more and more every day." Nanami explained, it somehow making sense to me.

So I nodded and put on my best determined smile despite the impending feeling in my chest of dread. This meant that our next move was to fight Mahito. Mahito knew of my connection to Sukuna and he seemed like the type to be a blabber mouth. If he attempted to talk, I'd be forced to use one of my forbidden techniques on him.
"I agree." I mumbled. I then sighed and opened the front door again while saying,

"So? What are we waiting for? We have a curse to exorsise."
