~BRAVE~ (Tanjiro X Reader)

I sneered at the so-called bother in disgust. "There's no way you're still alive. " This was no longer my brother, this was some sort of demon. Almost like one of the twelve moons.

"I wouldn't say I'm alive per se, just a different species is all." He shrugged with a grin on his face. "Though I do not feel the need to explain myself to you." He began confidently walking towards me. His arms outreached for an embrace. "Now come sister, join me in this so we can be one again!"

Daikoku looked down at me, his form much taller and more fit than it once was. What was once my brother's handsome face was contorted into something sinister, and not welcome in this world. Before I knew it, I could feel the warm tears streaming down my face as Diakoku looked at me with confusion in his off-colored eyes.

"I'm sorry you're in so much pain..." I mumbled under my breath, clenching my sword that lay at my side. Immediately the man jumped back as I slashed toward him, unsheathing the sword as soon as I touched it. He should have been dead. Now it is my responsibility to make sure it stays that way. "You're presence is too much for this world. It's time to go."

"Hinokami Kagura..." I hear behind me. My eyes widened as I knew exactly who it was, though I did not want to take my eyes off of the enemy. Tanjiro Lunged forward, a beautiful flame following his sword as he ran in front of me. The flames tickled my face only a little before he made his strike toward Daikoku, hitting him in the stomach "Fire wheel."

Daikoku jumped back once more, only to be struck down by Zenitsu's thunderclap and flash.

I was so glad I was no longer alone. I never was, my friends were here the whole time. Zenitsu's attack sent Daikoku through the floor, into the basement, where Inosuke had gotten himself lost." Beast breathing, sixth fang, crazy cutting!" He laughed out maniacly.

I jumped down into the basement, Daikoku lay there, unable to move due to the damage, his body already trying to heal itself. "I loved you." I started. I stood there looking at him sadly as he tried to save himself.

"Wait (Y/n), we can still fix this no problem, it's ok, we can train together like me used to and-" He was interrupted with blood spurring out from his mouth by the stabbing of my blade. As it sunk in further the tears continued. I ignored them becasue I just wanted to get it over with at this point.

"Loved." I said. as I stole the last light from my former brother's eyes.
