Night of The Vampire! (Leo X Gender Neutral! Reader)

New York. Though it was always lively there was always one night of the entire year leo looked forward to the most.

Halloween.

It was the only night of the year where he could walk around as himself and get free stuff with out looking like he was out of the ordinary. But this year was going to be different.

He had you to go with him.

Now don't get him wrong, his brothers always went out on Halloween night but they all had different ideas of fun. What Leo liked to do on All Hallows' eve was taking candy from strangers and pranking the annoying kids on the block.

Who better to spend that time with than you? Maybe he was looking for an excuse to be closer to you. You two hardly hung out anymore after school started back up for you. Sure it's only been 3 months but that's 3 months too long!

He had a plan, and nothing was going to stop him from spending some good quality time with you. (His crush.)

Though in order for this to work he needed to make sure all his brothers were definitely doing their own thing leaving him alone in the lair with you. (Which wouldn't be too hard. Splinter would probably dress up with Mikey and take him out to go to the kiddy side of town.)

"Hey D?" Leo popped his head into Donnie's lab, finding him to be his first target to get out of the lair. Looking around finding it empty.

Which was unusual. Donnie never just left his lab abandoned. Leo stalked inside looking around further.

"Uh-" Leo stopped looking at a container laying on his brothers desk.

A bat screeched at him from inside flapping around banging into each corner of the tank before finally settling down again. A bat in Donnie's lab wasn't the weirdest thing he's seen but still what was he doing with a bat?

Leo leaned closed to it looking over the hastily written words on a piece of tape.

Nosferatu: Vampire bat.

Leo scrunched just face up. Leave it to Donnie to name a bat something weird like nosfer-what ever. Still what was he doing with a vampire bat?

Now that Leo was thinking about it he vaguely remembered Donnie earlier within the week talking about how he may have found an alternative to using Big Mama's web fluid to hunt ooscitos.

Leo looked around at the rest of the desk until finally his eyes settled on a lone slice of pizza. Oh man it was there for the taking! But what was Donnie doing leaving a piece of pizza abandoned like that?!

"Hey Donnie?" Leo shouted into the lab huffing at the silence that greeted him.
"Welll he won't notice if I just take a little bite right?"

Leo greedily snatched the pizza up. Having no intentions to only take a small bite as he scarfed the whole pizza down almost in one chomp.

As soon as he finished there was a lingering weird after taste that made Leo cringe. What was that about? Leo shrugged figuring he'd go find raph instead now to see what he was up to. After all he didn't want to be around for when Donnie came back to find his pizza gone.

But what Leo failed to notice were the notes beside the pizza, talking about how it was infused with something in an effort to perhaps attract ooscitos and trap them.

There was no telling what the effects would be on a person that ate the pizza. Poor unsuspecting Leo.
