"Can I request Leo X Female Reader that the reader is a cold hearted person and that Leo thinks She doesn't like him but really reader likes him very much and accidentally blurted it out?"

Enjoy!

You're distant. Cold. Reserved.

You never looked twice at him, not like you used to. Instead you were quite when he was around refusing to acknowledge him. But it wasn't always like that.

Leo just didn't get it. What happened? Sure you weren't always the nicest person but you were still a good person. You had boundaries that the brothers weren't used to making you a bit irritated at times. But you had a heart of good despite the slight harsh words at time. So why were you so cold, especially to him now?

Leo narrowed his eyes in thought. He had to be honest with himself it was sort of getting on his nerves. The cold stared the snark remarks, though that was if he was lucky enough to have something said to him.

He thought you at least liked him somewhat but just when he suspected that maybe you did it vanished. (He didn't want to say it but it sort of crushed him. And instead of being sad he got irritated.)

You were still nice to his brothers. That was a good thing at least. But what was your deal with him? You two used to talk a lot, well he did most of the talking you'd just listen but still! You'd both spend as much time with each other before you had to go home as you could.

What happened?

You smiled at Mikey as the two of you talked just outside of the kitchen, your body leaned back against a wall with your arms crossed. You seemed like you were having a good time talking to him. Not even the slightest but angry or cold. You were still reserved but not nearly as distant with the youngest brother than you were with Leo.

Leo frowned at the thought, unable to help the scowl that crossed over his face. Was he jealous? No he couldn't be jealous. Please that would be silly. He was just tired of your attitude. And he just wanted to get to the root of the problem. Figure out what your deal was. (But he didn't have the courage to approach you. And he didn't for the rest of the day.)

But what were you thinking? Well that was simple.

You had a reason for your behavior. This whole thing had been going on for a while. Your coldness towards the red eared slider started 3 weeks ago, no one but you really understood why. (Or so you thought)

And you wanted to keep it that way. You couldn't possibly tell him just what was going on inside your mind. How could you? But you couldn't think about it. Keeping your distance instead to hang out with the other brothers.

You had to tell Mikey goodbye, leaving the box turtle to return to the real world. The world inside the lair was like a dream even if you tried to keep it as realistic as you could. But it was just perfect. (Aside from your feelings.)

It was cold now on your way home. The sun had set a while ago casing the city in darkness. Or well as dark as New York could get at least. A stark contrast to what you were used to in the lair. Like a reminder that they were only a temporary escape. You stuffed your hand inside your pocket walking aimlessly along the sidewalk.

You knew avoiding Leo was a bad thing. Especially when the two of you were the closest. But you couldn't help it. You knew he had noticed your behavior but you didn't want to confront him about it. It was better to remain quite about it.

You can't just tell him you have a crush on him and that's why you were being distant. No way.

You didn't want to go home. You knew what awaited you wasn't all that great. Your parents weren't exactly the best. You just hoped that maybe they had to go into work and you'd have the apartment to yourself. Wishful thinking though. (Life wasn't always so kind to you. You learned to be cold to survive.)
