It was a tingle that woke Gavin out of sleep. He sighed. He was good. He was warm. His last dream was unraveling as he woke up. He didn't want to open his eyes but the uncomfortable feeling in his arm made him do so. He fell on a mass of black, thick, straight hair that had nothing to do with Winnie's blonde locks. He had a moment of anguished hesitation which quickly dissipated when his evening the night before came back to him. Marc... he had slept with Marc. Remembering his surrender to the caresses of the singer and the way he himself had behaved, he felt the red of embarrassment invade his cheeks. He moved his fingers numbed by Marc's head cutting off circulation to his arm, trying to restore it. He would have liked to free himself but Marc was completely slumped over him. He bit his lip to keep from smiling. Usually, when two bodies fell asleep entwined, in the morning each was on his side of the bed, but with Marc, he had more the impression that he had invaded his living space even more. Marc slept totally across him. Gavin managed as best he could to free himself from the bear hug trying not to wake Marc. Once standing, he looked at the bed and Marc in its center. The duvet covered his ass and Gavin found himself staring at the bare back. And what a back! the shoulders were broad and the muscles bulged deliciously. The spine divinely hollowed out the back and went up towards the buttocks...hidden by the duvet. Gavin suppressed a longing sigh. His bare, sticky body reminded him and, after picking up and throwing the condoms in the trash, opening the window a crack, he went to take a shower.

The water did him good. He thought back to yesterday at the festival...then afterwards of course, but for now he was trying to focus on Peter's proposal. Music had always been important in his life and that was the primary reason for opening his site. Art had always been an integral part of his life, but music... To be honest with himself, would he have been so eager to accept Peter's proposal if he hadn't met Marc and the Red Pandas? Maybe not so early in his career but surely at one time or another. Then, continuing to be honest, would he still be with Winnie? He felt like he was at a turning point in his life. Would he take this opportunity? And if tomorrow he and Marc stopped dating, could he continue? Yes. Yes, because he already had lots of ideas and projects that appeared in his mind. What he could bring them and...

Two hands landed on his shoulders, making him jump.

— You left me all alone.

Gavin smiled without looking back.

— You slept like a log.

Marc snuggled up against Gavin's back and wrapped both arms around the reporter's waist while his nose dawdled under his ear.

— I slept like a log because you were with me. I didn't sleep when you left me alone.

Gavin laughed softly, tilting his head as Marc sprinkled kisses on his neck and shoulder.

— What a big baby!

Gavin patted his hands.

— Let me go, I'll prepare breakfast.

Marc's arms tightened around him.

— Nope. I want to eat you.

— Mark, we can't!

The hands of the latter went on an adventure. Gavin pulled them up onto his stomach and resumed.

— Because you promised to be in the studio to help put things away by 10 a.m.

Marc freed his hands and set off again to conquer the south. Gavin squirmed free.

— Come on, baby...just a little...

Marc's voice was both plaintive and charming. Gavin turned in the singer's arms to face him. He sighed exaggeratedly and grabbed his face before kissing him. As he forced a passionate kiss, Gavin managed to spin Marc around and so he slipped out of the shower. Marc groaned in frustration. Gavin winked at him.
