Their first official job was a photo shoot for a music magazine followed by a river interview about the band. It was a magazine that was LGBTQ+ friendly . Gavin had made an effort to look good. He was the manager (assistant) of the Red Pandas and was also the showcase of the group. Dark pants, a dark v-neck sweater with a white shirt underneath. He had bought himself a better coat and shoes. His pro laptop in one pocket, the character in the other and his satchel with his mini-computer and the tablet completed the outfit. The weather was gray but the temperatures had risen slightly, thawing the ground on the streets.

It was Gavin's big day. He got into a mini van from Peter's company, driven by the company driver. For the first job, Peter thought it would be better. Gavin knew leading the group would be part of his job but for now he focused on his notes.

They stopped at Marc's first. Gavin didn't watch the couple kiss in front of the building door. Amy exchanged a few words of encouragement with Marc and gave the new manager a small wave of victory. Gavin smiled back. Amy kissed Marc again quickly and went back inside. Marc sat down next to Gavin and smiled at him.

— Hi baby.

He kissed his cheek quickly. Gavin pulled away, growling.

— Don't call me that. Do not do that ! we're at work, Marc.

The singer slumped against him, sighing. Gavin tried to push him away but Marc immediately fell against him. Gavin sighed and rested his head on his shoulder.

— You are tired ?

Marc, who had closed his eyes, groaned.

— A little. I'm nervous so I had trouble falling asleep.

— Then get some rest. I'll do a briefing when everyone's here.

Marc sighed with well-being. He dozed during the journey, hearing without hearing them, his friends and colleagues joining them in turn. He breathed in Gavin's scent, felt his breath and the purr of his voice. The singer felt like he was drawing strength from Gavin and his nervousness went away.

The new manager ended up shaking him gently to wake him up. The preparatory meeting began in the last part of the transport. Gavin explained to them the course of their day with the timing to respect. He briefed them on the answers to given according to the questions to stay in the spirit of the newspaper and especially to avoid the polemics on the sensitive subjects. He told them about makeup and dressing. For a few days he had also updated the official schedule of the group. They were nevertheless surprised to see a dozen fans waiting for them in front of the newspaper building who photographed them and shouted encouragement.

The Red Pandas met the make-up artists and the stylist team. They weren't big clothing brands yet but representing their brand was a good start to getting known. Impressed at first, the group soon relaxed into the hands of professionals behind the scenes. York, like New York, the stylist artist was gifted not only in make-up but also in human relations. He teased and complimented them the whole time the makeup lasted and then encouraged them for fittings. The theme decided by the newspaper was simple so their outfits weren't flashy or too eccentric. The photos were taken and then came the time for questions and answers. Gavin had watched them through the process and was even more alert. The interview was filmed so that the magazine could play excerpts and encourage the public to buy the paper version or subscribe to the digital content. Positioned just behind the line of the camera, Gavin listened to each question and each answer. The group often sought his agreement with a glance in his direction. After the general questions about their identity and their music came the time for more political questions about their involvement in various causes including the LGBTQ+ cause. It was Mark who answered
