It's been 2 weeks and Rayla still won't come out. She's heartbroken, depressed, shattered.

And Callum just spends his days feeding her, rubbing her back, learning new spells so that when he's well enough he can attempt at healing her.

Callum gulped as he watched Rayla take another shaky bite of food. At this point her mental health is on the line and he's desperate to help her. He sighed and get up.

"I'm gonna get Ezran." He mumbled, kissing her on her head. She only nodded slowly, turning around in his bed and staring at the dark wall. Callum choked back a sob, seeing her like this is breaking him. He walked out, bumping into Ezran who was holding hot cocoa.

"Oh sorry Ez!" He exclaimed, bracing Ezran. Ezran smiled.

"Don't worry about it Callum. How is she doing?"

Callum sighed. "Not well at all, she barely eats anymore. Dads?"

"They're still out looking for a cure."

Callum ran a hand through his hair, stressed out. "Soren?"

"In the library looking for a book to find a cure."

"I'm gonna go visit Shadowpaw." He muttered under his breath.

"I'm gonna go sit with Rayla and tell her about Bait sleeping in the same bed with Zym."

Callum smiled slightly and walked towards the garden. He walked towards the stables, holding back another sigh.

"Hey Shadowpaw." He said, going up to his stall. He stuck his hand out, beckoning the creature over.  He make an excited noise and nuzzled Callum's hand, causing him to chuckle slightly.

"What do I do?" He whispered, petting the strange creatures mane.

Shadowpaw just stared at him with his big blue eyes, confused yet happy to see him. Callum sighed.

Great, he thought, I'm finally going crazy. I'm talking to a navy blue lion thingy about my family issues.
