Rayla sat in the library with Ezran, slowly reading a book to him. They lazily threw a blanket across their laps that halfway surrounds their bodies which are pressed together. He was resting his head on her shoulder, enjoying the time with his sister. Rayla let her mind wander to her husband, what he's doing. She admired his bravery, going out into the world just for her, to.. fix her.

I'm not broken, she reminded herself.

She's come to terms with it, if she can't have children so be it, as long as she with Callum she's fine.

Ezran stopped reading the princess and the glow toad to look up at her. "Ray are you ok?"

She sighed and nodded, forcing a small smile.

"I'm fine Ez."

"You miss Callum." He stated, grabbing her hand lightly.

"Yeah I do, but that's ok... I'm a strong person I can survive without a man."

Ezran laughed and stood up. "Ok miss strong and independent woman, I'm gonna go let the chef's know that you're cooking your own dinner now."

"Oh no you don't!" She screamed, grabbing onto Ezran and falling onto the ground. They both burst out laughing, Rayla rolling off of Ezran.

"You're a good brother in law." She remarked, looking at Ezran. Ezran smiled and ruffled her hair.

"You're a good sister in law."

At that she smiled and got up, holding out her hand to Ezran. "C'mon, I bet we can actually cook dinner tonight."

Ezran pulled himself up with the help of her hand and went to open the door. "Right this way your royal highness."

Rayla giggled and curtsied before walking out of the door.

Everything will be fine, as long as she has Ez.
