"What's going on, all of you are sitting in front of me, your scaring me." Mat said. "Okay I'll say it, Sofiya and I are gonna be living here with you guys, Sel is gonna give up his room for the girls and you boys are gonna share the other two rooms." Ruri said "Wait that's amazing!" Kait said hugging the girls "Wait you guys were in on this too?" Mat asked, looking at Rei, Sel, and Steven. "Yeah, it was kinda a surprise." Steven explained . "Oh cool, as long as I get to stay in the same room then I'm good." Mat said "Okay let me get my stuff." Ruri said "Wait, you guys are gonna start living here today?" Mat asked. "I mean yeah, is that a problem?" Sofiya asked "Nah, just asking, I'm gonna go be in my room." Mat said walking to his room and taking off his clothes and getting in the shower. "I like that the twins and Ruri are gonna be here but it's gonna need some getting used to, I'm gonna have less time with Kait now when we just got on good terms." Mat said as he got out of the bathroom with shorts on and the towel over his shoulders. "Sorry, I just came to get my stuff." Kait said as she put her hand over her eyes and grabbed a pile of clothes. "OMG! I'm so sorry Kait I didn't know you were in here!" Mat said as he ran back into the bathroom and put on a shirt and hung up his towel. "Your good, don't worry." Kait said as she walked out of the room with her eyes still closed.

"So how are we gonna do this?" Sel asked "Well the girls are already taking over your room and Mat doesn't want to leave his so do you wanna sleep with me?" Steven asked Sel "Sure, I've always wanted to sleep with you." Sel said as he licked his lips. "Ayo!" Rei said holding a box of stuff and walking to Mat's room. "Hey roomie, whats up?" Rei said as he entered Mat's room to see that he was listening to music and staring at the seeling. "Okay spill it, what happened this time?" Rei said as he took Mat's headphones away. "I'm glad that we have new roommates now and I'm happy that Kait has been able to make friends so quickly in the little time that she has been here but I feel bad." Mat said. "For what exactly?" Rei asked, putting his arm around Mat. "I feel bad that I wasn't able to give her that kind of happiness when we were dating, that I wasn't good enough for myself or for her." Mat explained. "Bro stop getting mad at yourself, instead of dwelling in the past, use your mistakes to better your life in the future, learn from your mistakes to become someone better. '' Rei said. "I guess you're right about that." Mat said "Guys come out of your rooms!" Ruri said as everyone barged out of their rooms to see that the living room couch was covered in blankets and that the coffee table had a bunch of snacks on it. "Since it's our first day of living together I decided to go all out. I bought snacks, blankets, and games for all of us to enjoy!" Ruri said "Thanks Ruri" Rei said as everyone sat on the couch with blankets on top of them. "Hey Rei, wanna smash." Sel asked. "Bro what, of course not, you're my friend." Rei said "So you dont wanna play smash bros?" Sel asked, "Oh, yeah I'll play." Rei said "Why do you guys have to be like this?" Sofiya said. "I bet you would've said yes to her." Sel whispered into Rei's ear. "Dude!" Rei said as he pushed Sel.

And so the group played video games till they eventually all knocked out from sleep deprivation and then walked back to their rooms but for some weird reason Mat just couldn't go to sleep so he decided to go to the living room and just stay there till the morning but when he walked he saw Kait going out of her room too. "Couldn't sleep?" Mat asked "Yeah, you too huh?" Kait said "I'm just gonna stay here till morning." Mat said "Do you mind if I join you?" Kait asked, "No, go ahead." Mat said as Kait sat down next to him. "Why couldn't you fall asleep?" Mat asked Kait. "I don't know, I was trying so hard and I was even hugging the giant pikachu but I just couldn't." Kait said "It was like something was missing right?." Mat asked. "Exactly...can I hug you? For research purposes I mean." Kait asked as her face turned red. "Sure," Mat said as Kait hugged him and put her head on the side of his body as she slowly fell asleep. "This is what was missing, Rei was right, I shouldn't dwell in the past, the present is way better anyway." Mat said as he put a blanket on top of him and Kait and moved her hair away from her face.
