The Halloween special

"Bang, Bang, Bang" Mat hit a pot with a spoon repeating the same rhythm causing everyone to wake up. "Dude what's your problem, I need my beauty sleep." Sel said. "Mhmmugh" Sofiya said with her eyes closed and her curly hair all over the place. "Are you guys not aware of what day it is?" Mat asked. "It's October 31st." Rei said "Exactly!" Mat yelled. "What about it?" Ruri asked. "He means that it's Halloween." Steven said. "What's Halloween?" Kait asked. "OMG, I can't believe I haven't mentioned this, so basically it's this holiday where people dress up, eat sweets, and celebrate all things spooky and scary, but not only that it's the one day where ghosts and goblins run around our world waiting for a fright." Mat said "Oh, cool I guess." Kait said "I thought you guys would be more psyched about this." Mat said. "It's literally 3:00 am in the morning and we're all tired." Ruri said, crossing her arms. "Do you not see what I'm seeing?" Mat asked. "What, there's literally nothing." Sofiya explained. Exactly, there's a lack of spirit. Look we have a dorm, we have tons of blankets, Ruri you have makeup, I have decorations, and we have a girl that can teleport by my command and can appear to only a select few." Mat said "Where are you going with this?" Rei asked. "I say we make a haunted house!" Mat said (enter cricket noises here) "What do you guys think?" Mat asked "Lets go for it then." Rei said. "You guys don't seem as excited as I am." Mat explained. That's because we slept for negative hours!" Sel yelled. "Why cant you have this amount of energy for literally any other day." Sofiya asked. "That's because today only happens one day each year, SoFiYa!" Mat said "We're gonna go to sleep." Rei said "See you in the morning!" Steven said "Technically it is morning." Mat said "Go to sleep, Kait is waiting." Rei said as he looked at Kait who was sitting on the couch with a blanket over her while smiling. "We all know that that's what you wanna do with Sofiya!" a silhouette of a man with a machete said from outside the door. "What, I don't want that!" Rei yelled as he looked at Sofiya and Sofiya looked at him. There was then a big "Crash" as Kait ran to Mat, Sofiya to Rei, Steven to Ruri and Sel to his body pillow. "Kait, before we die I want to tell you that I lo..." Mat said as the owner of the silhouette walked into the dorm, it was Kevin with a bat in his hand and a backpack in the other. "You guys should've seen your faces, that shit was hilarious." Kevin said "Why are you even here?" Sel asked. "Oh right, I guess I was sleep walking again, since I'm here, can I sleep on the couch?" Kevin said as everyone else looked at Mat and Kait. "It's more comfortable in Mat's bed." Kait explained. "Okay," Kevin said as he hopped onto Mat's bed, almost breaking it. "That sure was funny, huh." Rei said as he let go of Sofiya and Steven did the same with Ruri. "Good night, I guess." Ruri said as she walked away. "So what was that you were gonna say?" Kait said. "Nothing important." Mat said as he laid on the couch with Kait hugging him.

"Okay for our first matter of business I'm going to assign roles for everyone, I will be in charge of decorations and managing all of you, Sofiya you'll be in charge of makeup, Ruri you're costumes, Sel, Steven, Kevin, and Rei you guys are gonna be in charge in doing the scaring when we open the haunted house, and Kait you're gonna be our main attraction." Mat said as everyone else was barely awake. "I thought she was already your main attraction." Kevin said, causing Mat and Kait to turn dead silent. (Think of this part as a montage) Mat starts moving some of the furniture to the side as Sofiya guides the boys to her room and starts off by putting some green face paint onto Kevin's face to make frankenstein. Ruri then starts to rummage around everyones closets to find clothes spooky enough for a haunted house as Kait tried her best to help out by walking around the house, looking at what everyone else was doing. The haunted house is now almost finished with the house tinted with red lights, old blankets with holes, Kevin dressed as Frankenstein's monster, Rei as a zombie, Sel as a vampire, Mat dressed as a clown, and the three girls dressed as ghosts. "Now that the actual house is finished we're gonna need some people to come, Rei you're gonna get some people's attention, Kevin you're gonna work the cash register, remember that we're charging 5 dollars for each person, and as for the rest of you, contact as much people as you can to come here." In a flash there was then a giant line of people from their school and even just random people started to show up. "I want all of you guys in your positions, oh and Kait when we perform the thing don't get scared okay." Mat said. "Okay" Kait agreed as a group of people walked into the house Sage, Jacob, Aaron, and Vinny with another group consisting of the Bri Bri, the most popular guy at school, and about 5 to 10 girls. "Ready Kait?" Mat said as Kait nodded and Mat whispered "I wish for Kait to be with Sage." and so Kait teleported to him, scaring everyone causing the Bri Bri to scream like a little girl and grab onto Jacob. "How is the scarring going?" Mat asked Rei, talking through a walkie talkie "Pretty good." Rei said as someone screamed in the distance "Get everyone to the back of the house, I have a surprise." Mat said "Okay, bet." Sel said as everyone then went to the back of the house where Mat was standing on top of multiple tables. "Hello everyone, the haunted house will be closing shortly but I still have one small thing up my sleeve" as buckets of red colored water dropped on everyone and smoke covered Mat. "Goodnight everyone!"  Mat said as the smoke went away and Kait teleported to him holding a confetti cannon and shot it as everyone walked away and the sky got darker.

"I gotta say you know how to make a pretty amazing haunted house." Sofiya said taking a bite from a peanut butter cup. "Yeah, and why did you not tell us about the last trick?" Rei asked. "I had to clean my outfit from red dye for five minutes." Ruri said. "It was a surprise, just like how I didn't know I would have new roommates until a few weeks ago." Mat said. "Fair point." Steven said "Thanks Mat, you know for today, I think I might really like this holiday." Kait said "No prob, just think of it as a thank you for you know." Mat said "Next time I wanna get spooked though." Kait said "And I'll be there when you can't handle it." Mat said as Kait punched him in the arm. "L bozo" Steven said. "There's a reason why we made him a clown." Sofiya and Ruri said as Kait poked Mat's foam red nose.
