Scorpius rushed up to Albus, beaming and out of breath. "Albus, Albus! Guess what, I asked Rose out on a date!"

Albus felt a pang of jealousy but he ignored it. "Oh... cool!"

"I knew she would say yes someday!" Scorpius said, still taking large gulps of air. However, his expression soon turned to one of anxiety as he seemed to realise something.

"What's wrong?"

Scorpius turned to him, panic clear on his face. "What if she wants to snog? Bloody hell, I have no idea how to kiss!"

What? Already? Albus thought. That escalated fast.

"Um I'm sure you're skipping a few steps and besides, you're definitely thinking too much." he said aloud. "Kissing is all natural, just two people expressing their feelings by pressing their lips together and..."

"And?" Scorpius said, leaning forward to listen closely.

"It's harder to explain than to do." With that, Albus ran his fingers through Scorpius's hair and pulled him closer, kissing him.

Scorpius was taken slightly aback by this, but then closed his eyes. Albus's lips were soft and he found himself leaning into Albus's embrace.

A little while later, they parted, both highly red in the face.

Albus opened his mouth, still blushing. "See, way easier to do than explain."

(A/N: and then Scorpius cancelled his date with Rose. They both stopped being oblivious and realised they fancied each other and Scorbus finally happened and they adopted a daughter and lived happily ever after. The end.)
