"Moomy!" baby Harry babbled, clapping his hands.
Lily and Remus were both in the room, sitting at the dining table at the time, and they looked over as Harry said his first word.
They stared at each other across the kitchen table in complete silence for about an hour.
Eventually, they spoke.
Remus and Lily started at the same time. "I'm sure-"
"Oh, sorry, you go first," Lily quickly apologised.
"I'm sure he said mummy," Remus explained. Lily shook her hands.
"No, moony, he said your name!" Lily smiled.
They both amended that Harry was such a sweet child, he loved them both, they agreed and got into a friendly conversation.
James came into the room, muttering, "I'm pretty sure Harry said poopy," and promptly got tackled.
