Scorpius walked up to the Owlery, looking around the owls for letters.
"Let's see what they have for me today," he muttered.
Soon enough, he found a stackful of letters addressed to him and went back to the common room with them.
Sitting down, Scorpius set the stack on the floor and opened a letter.
'You corrupted the child of the Boy who Lived,' one read.
Another said, 'You're not good enough for a Potter!'
Scorpius snorted. He loved Albus, and nothing would change that.

The reporters were getting more and more annoying. Scorpius and Albus had been having a nice day in Hogsmeade until the reporters had shown up.
"Can we get a picture for the Daily Prophet?" a photographer asked.
"Is it true that you and Albus are dating?" one especially daft reporter shouted.
"Is it true that the son of the Boy who Lived, Albus, is gay?" another reporter called out.
"Could I have an interview about what it's like to be gay?" a journalist demanded.
Scorpius was so done.
Taking a hold of Albus's collar, he pulled him into a kiss in front of everyone.
"We are dating. And you know what? I don't give an eff about it, so we're going back to Hogwarts." Scorpius promptly turned around, holding Albus's hand and they left.

As Scorpius walked through the halls, he could hear jeers and boos from almost every direction. Comments about being the 'son of Voldemort', comments about being gay, comments about being a Death Eater.
He held his head high and wore a large sneer. He wanted them to remember that he was a Malfoy and they couldn't scare him.

"Hey, Scorpius!" A Slytherin came over to him. "So, I know that you're dating Albus, and that's super cool."
"Thanks," Scorpius started, but then the Slytherin spoke again.
"So, who's the girl in the relationship?" the Slytherin asked.
"Uh, well," Scorpius stuttered, "Neither of us are girls, that's kind of the point."
He decided that he was done with this conversation and left (probably to go kiss Albus haha).
