Meet the new Secretary

Chapter 15

''Come on Clara , get out already!" I heard Nicole shout from outside the bathroom door. Tonight is the night that I have been dreading. The beach party night. Here I am now, inside the bathroom, unable to go outside and face their family's visitors. I actually plan to spend the night inside Chase's bedroom. I don't want to go out there exposing too much skin! 

"Clara! Are you still alive in there?!" Nicole is now banging the door. I sighed, and take one final look at the mirror before I finally have the courage to open the door. 

Nicole's back is turned on me. She is wearing a really sexy black two piece bikini. I'm really insecure right now. When Nicole heard the bathroom door open, she went to face me.

"It's about time Cla-" She didn't finished her sentence. She just stood there open mouthed, staring at me. It made me really conscious. Do I look hideous? Is my arms to flabby? 

"What?!" I asked when I can't take it anymore.

"Oh my gosh Clara , you look sexy as hell!"

Oh my gosh. Did she just say I'm sexy? I blushed at that compliment but then I just shrugged it off. Maybe Nicole was just being polite. I sighed. Well, let's just get this over with. 

I didn't know they invited so many guests. I asked this to Nicole.

"Well, mom and dad and Chase had lots of friends so yeah, that's basically why there's lots of people here right now." 

I need a shield so people won't see me. Speaking of shield, I wonder where my giant shield is. I haven't seen Chase after we had snack together. He told me he won't leave my side and now he is nowhere in sight.

"C'mon, I'll introduce you to people."

I sighed and followed Nicole. Well I don't have much of a choice, it is either I follow her or be dragged. She 'first' introduced me to her girl friends, and then she'll introduce me to some bachelors because according to her , save the best for last. 

I saw some familiar faces, some of them are Chase's clients. And then I saw one particular annoying face, Carl. The guy who annoyed me so much I punched him.

"Well ,well so the hot secretary is here." Carl said as he approached me and Nicole. He was wearing a Hawaiian short and...well that's it. Most of the guys are either wearing summer shorts or just boxer shorts.

"Hey Carl, so you already met Clara?"

"Oh yeah, the first time I met her she punched me in the stomach."

"Really?! That was awesome Clara! Carl here really needs to punched in the gut sometime."

"Hey!" Carl protested but Nicole and I just ignored him.

"Anyway, since you two know each other already I'll leave you two together. Carl introduce Clara to other people."

"Hey!" She was gone before I even have the time to protest. I looked at Carl and saw that he is waiting for me to say something. I sighed and nod at him.

"C'mon, I'll introduce you to some of my good friends."

There is people everywhere, some are near the buffet table, others are playing beach volleyball, some are lounging on the pool (yep they have a pool). We went near the pool where lots of hunks are hanging out. I can't find even a single less attractive person in here. 

"May I have everyone's attention please? I'm gonna introduce someone to you."

I got really conscious and shy when everyone looked at me. I wish I know what is going on in their minds. They were just staring at me.
