Two days had passed since Celeste had been trapped in this horrible cement box. Daily torment included. She had been trying to use their powers to break the chains but anytime they tried, the boss man walked in for interrogation. "Help!" Celeste's voice was dry; hoarse. As far as she knew, no one could hear them, but they tried, and tried, and tried.

I'm so drained. I have done nothing but screamed, and that did nothing. I just want to go home. Why does everything have to be so complicated? I just want to live my life. I'm so fucked.

They opened their palm, trying to spark even just the littlest of lightning. Come on.. Celeste slammed their head against the wall. "Fuck!" They grunt in frustration. Their eyes got glassy as a tear streamed down their face. I failed, as always. I'm going to die in this stupid cement box. With that last thought, a line of lightning sparked and burned a chain, releasing one of Celeste's arms. They open their eyes in pure shock. What? They questioned. They shook the thought away. This was their only chance, better soak it up.

Using every ounce of strength she had left, they burned through the other chain, slightly grazing their arm. It was still dark. The light switch! She thought. Celeste threw a smaller lightning bolt towards the light switch in hopes of flicking it on. Instead, she knocked it off the wall. Great. You know what? It's fine, I can do this. They thought.

She created a small lightning bolt in the palm of their left hand, using their right hand to try to get the chains on their ankles off. "Ugh!" Celeste groans out, accidentally throwing the lightning bolt at their own ankle. "Ouch!" It burned their ankle, but it got the chain off. She did the same with the other ankle, being more careful. Finally, they were free of the chains. My butt is hella sore now. She thought. What were they expecting? For the cement to be comfortable?

One problem. How am I getting out of this room? I'm sure they have reinforcements on the door, or reinforcements outside of the door. Celeste looked up at the roof like she did that first day. It's still there.

There was a very visible trapdoor in the roof, Celeste assumed it led to an office, maybe. Only one way to find out. She thought. Before they could walk over to the corner where the trapdoor was, the door opened. "Oh Celeste..." Boss man said in a singing tune. "I have a surprise for you." He said, going to turn on the light, but instead getting electricuted. "Ow!" He shrieked.

"That happens when you touch exposed wire." Celeste responded, voice still dry from the lack of saliva they had in their mouth. "What the-" Before he could finish his sentence, Celeste knocked him out with a lightning bolt to the face.

Well that helps way better than my original plan. Celeste thought as she stepped over the unconscious body of Malina's boss, walking out the door. Right, Malina. Celeste reminded themself. They weren't sure where she was, but that'll be figured out as soon as they can get out of wherever they were.

The building was surprisingly empty, Celeste was able to walk through the halls just fine. Well, until she hit the end of the hallway. There were two guards on both sides of the opening, across from them were two more guards, guarding another opening. Of course, Celeste didn't see this coming and walked through the opening to be greeted by two guards bodyslaming them into the floor and two more running over. These guys were pretty big too, and Celeste wasn't.

She rolled over on top of one, plunging two thumbs with lightning piercing through them into the man's eyes. The other guard put his legs around Celeste's neck, flipping them stomach flat on the ground. "Ow!" Celeste shouted in pain, quickly getting into a crawling position, making the man sit on top of their back. She quickly jerked forward, slamming him into one of the guards running towards them.

One more left. She thought. Celeste didn't have enough energy to lightning bolt towards the guard, which allowed the guard to jump onto them, aggressively slamming them into the floor, their head slamming into the wall. The guard landed a few punches to Celeste's face, before she wrapped her legs around his torso, slamming her body into his, now reversing the position to where she was on top, and he was on the bottom. She sent a few lightning bolts to his neck, instantly knocking him out from the shock.

At this point, the witch was extremely tired, but she needed to get out before more came sprinting towards them. I am out of shape, man. Celeste huffed, walking towards a black door. "Hey!" A woman's voice called from behind Celeste. Before she could turn around to react, the female guard jumped on their back, putting them in a choke hold. Celeste's first reaction was to spin around in circles, hoping to knock the guard off, but that wasn't very smart. So instead she went limp, making their body fall backwards. This caught the guard off guard (get it?) and made them slam into the floor. Celeste was too tired to do anything else, and stood up and walked out the door, hearing the female guard groaning in pain.

(AN: For the people who may have skipped this chapter because of the TW (trigger warning) basically, after two days, Celeste escaped the cement box and got out of the building.)
