Don't you just love having to fight your ex the day after you break up? Oh boy, oh boy, I do! Celeste thought to themself. It was 2:55. She had five minutes to grab something to eat and get over there. I'll just bolt over. They grab a cheese stick and bolt over to their designated area where Malina and them had to put on a fight for the town to see. Malina was already there, sitting on a bench waiting with a box in their hands.
"I hope that's my hoodie in that box." Celeste walked in front of the bench. Malina started to say something before glancing behind Celeste. There's a crowd here already. Let's give them what they want. Malina looked at Celeste. Celeste wrapped a lightning bolt around the bench Malina sat on and flipped it over. Malina flipped themself over with the bench, landing on their feet. Celeste bolted in front of them and collided their fist with Malina's cheek, causing them to lose balance. "Sorry, that looked like it hurt." Celeste whispered in Malina's ear before making a small lightning bolt. Malina grabbed the lightning bolt, slashing it across Celeste's cheek. It only created a small cut which is what they were going for. "Well, I'd never!" Celeste placed a hand over their chest, sarcastically of course.
"You don't understand what you saw last night. Meet me on the snowy cliffs, eight pm." Malina climbed on top of Celeste and wrapped their hands around Celeste's neck, slightly choking them. Celeste wrapped a lightning bolt around Malina and slammed them into the road. "And why should I? You're the cheater, I don't have to hear you out really." Celeste grabbed another small lightning bolt, this time holding it against Malina's throat. "Go on." Malina looked down, "Slit my throat. Let the blood splatter all over you. I'll be the only one who truly cared and loved you. You also get to live with the guilt of killing your one and only love, not knowing the truth." She spat.
Celeste scoffed, and cut open the healing wound Malina had on their stomach. "Ow! What the fuck!" Malina looked at their stomach. "I was going to say you look hot hovering over me like that, but hey. You stabbed me so I took it back, sorta." Celeste looked down at what she just did, guilt spreading across their face. They hovered their hand over the fresh stab wound, electrocuting it closed. She stood up, dropping the bloody lightning bolt on the road. "If I go to that cliff and you're not there, you'll be dead to me." Celeste grabbed the small box before bolting back home.
Malina laid in the road, with a crowd of people watching them. She slowly stood up, waving at the crowd before getting inside a gray car and driving off. Malina slammed on the horn and screamed as hard as she could. A tear fell down their face as she held the bloody stab wound. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. How the fuck did I keep my compusure. She did me dirty, stabbing a fresh stab wound? Really? This is who we are? Malina angrily thought to themself. I'm not going back, he will fucking kill her for this. Malina had no idea where she would go to heal this wound. From the side of their eye, Malina saw a flash of purple lightning appear in their passenger seat. "Ah!" She screamed, swerving off the road. The person who appeared in their car grabbed the steering wheel and drove it back onto the road.
"Celeste?! What the hell! Get out of my car!" Malina took a few glances to the side of them, noticing it was Celeste. "I can't do that!" Celeste shouted before a car ran up to the side of Malina's. "Who the hell is that!" Malina questioned. "No time to explain. Move." Before Malina could figure out what Celeste was talking about, Celeste reached over them, made the back of the seat lean all the way back, taking Malina with it, and jumped onto Malina's lap to drive instead. "What is happening right now!?" Malina demanded to know.
Celeste took one hand off the steering wheel, placed it on Malina's thigh and burned a lightning bolt onto it, bolting Malina into the passenger seat. "Are you trying to kill me today, Celeste!?!" Malina grabbed onto their thigh. Celeste didn't answer and instead pulled the back of the seat back up. "Celeste I swear to god!-" Malina started before Celeste put a finger over their mouth. "Please, shut up! Can you trust me? I mean you should be able to, I wasn't the one who cheated." Celeste yelled, ramming the side of Malina's car into the car beside them. "For the last time! I didn't cheat on you! And for the love of god! Do not ram the side of my car into that car!" Malina yelled. Celeste side-eyed Malina. "I'm going to need a drink after this. You want to explain how you didn't cheat on me?" She asked. "I went to the bar after a long day of work, and I was going to text you but my phone fucking died. And then that woman you saw in the photo? She approached me and was talking to me. She was hitting on me and I said I was taken, then she kissed me. I swear, I instantly backed away from her when I figured out what was happening. But you didn't want to listen to me!" Malina yelped as another car hit them from behind. Celeste cursed under their breath.
"You were still kissing long enough for my friend to take a picture. Either way, you betrayed your word. We were supposed to have a whole day together and you were at work all day. You could've texted me when your phone wasn't dead. Okay? You don't just do that. So fuck you for that." Celeste drove the car off the road, hoping the cars chasing them would stop. "But right now really isn't the time to talk about our relationship problems."
"Turn right, like right now, Celeste." Malina grabbed the steering wheel and turned the car right. The two cars chasing them collided into each other, probably injuring everyone in the car. "Listen to me when I tell you something. God, how many times do I have to tell you?" Malina sat back and looked back to make sure the cars weren't driving after them. "My phone had been dead for two days already. There was no way I could text you. You really think I would just go out and cheat on you for fun? Or at all?" She said. Celeste got back on the road. "I don't know what you would go out and do. I'm not supposed to. All we are is the hero and the villain. Nothing more, nothing less. You weren't supposed to come to my apartment for help, and I sure wasn't supposed to help you." Celeste said.
This might crash us, but I don't care. Fuck it. Malina thought before grabbing Celeste's face and smashing their lips onto theirs. "Malina! The fuck is wrong with you?!" Celeste turned their head back towards the road, slightly pushing Malina away from them. "Everything." She said, "I need to hear you say you love me. You're not going to turn away from us like we never happened. I know I betrayed your trust, and my word, I acknowledge that. I will apologize, and apologize, and apologize until you forgive me." She finished. Celeste didn't reply to Malina's rant, instead she changed the subject. "I don't know who those people are in the black cars. They were lingering around when we were fighting. Your boss trying to sabotage you?" Celeste looked in their rearview mirror.
"Oh my gosh. Fuck me." Malina gasped, holding onto their stomach. Celeste stopped at a red light and turned their head towards Malina. They were holding that cut with both hands, attempting to stop the bleeding. "I-I did not mean to cut you that bad." Celeste removed Malina's hands and hovered their hand over the cut, purple lightning stabbing at it. "Are you trying to make it worse?" Malina looked up and down towards Celeste and their stomach. "No. I'm trying to close it." She said, "This may feel weird."
Celeste fully covered the cut with their hand, sending lightning through Malina's body. This was to make sure it stayed closed, at least until they could get proper help. "I-Is that s-supposed to happen..?" Malina's words were slurred, due to literal lightning coursing through their body. "I think so, I've never done this before. I've only seen my mother do this. And why is this red light so long?" Celeste questioned, finally removing their hand from Malina's stomach. It took a second for Malina to regain their composure. Amy could talk some sense into them. And explain what the hell they just did to me. "Normally that much lightning coursing through someone's body would kill them. But, I was taught that depending on who that person may be, and how strong they are, they may be able to survive it." Celeste explained, "And no, I was not trying to kill you. If you were able to grab my lightning bolt without burning your hand, you can handle a little lightning inside your body."
"So you admit I'm strong?" Malina responded. "I never said you weren't." Celeste pressed on the gas, running the red light. "Celeste!" Malina scolded. "Calm down. That red light was extremely long, something fishy was going on." Celeste waved off. "I can handle myself now. You can go." Malina stared at Celeste. No need to have them drive me around. I'm completely capable. She thought. "Fine with me. If I arrive at the cliffs at eight, and you're not there, I swear to god-'' ''I'm going to be there." Malina cut Celeste off.
