The Hero and The Villain: A Forbidden Love (GXG)

A Heartbreaking Office Moment

 "And who is looking for me? Marvel halted in front of a door where two men in suits stood on opposite sides. He turned to face Celeste, awaiting an answer.

"The press, Hero's boss, possibly gangsters in black vans." Celeste shrugged, glancing at Dominique behind them. "Speaking of Hero, look at who we got." Marvel nodded at the guards and they pushed the doors open. As the doors opened they revealed a tied up Malina, blindfolded. Celeste gulped back a gasp. She wanted to run in and get them out of there, but the witch knew they were watching their every step. One slip up and everything goes down the drain.

"May I have a moment alone with them?" The witch looked up at the tall man they called their boss. "Why would you want that?" Marvel investigated. "You know I like to toy with the Hero. I won't be long, Dominique will go with you. He'll fulfill whatever it is you need." Celeste assured. Marvel walked down another hallway.

"Go with him. Stall him. If you tell him anything, I will make your life a living hell. Go." Celeste snarled. Dominique gulped loudly and jogged to catch up to Marvel. Celeste walked inside of the room where Malina sat tied up. The witch closed the doors to the room, hoping to muffle any sounds the guards may hear.

"Darling~" Celeste sang, walking up to Malina. "Mmm, mmm!" Malina tugged around in the chair. Celeste looked towards the corner of the room, and up at the ceiling. There was a camera, and it was on because it was flashing red. "Stop creating a struggle, there's no use." The witch sat on Malina's lap, removing the blindfold. Celeste brushed a piece of hair from Malina's face before leaning in close to their ear. "They're watching us." She whispered. They moved their face back to the front of Malina's face. "Mm!" Malina looked down at the gag in their mouth. "Oh right!"

Celeste grabbed the gag from Malina's mouth. The hero huffed and death stared Celeste. "Fuck. Get me out of here." Hero looked down at the ground. "Afraid I can't do that, Hero." The witch said, "Want to tell me how you got in this predicament?" She twirled a piece of the hero's hair.

"I was about to unlock the door to my apartment before I felt this pounding on my head. Then boom, darkness." Malina explained. "I would love to stay and chat, but I have places to be and things to attend to." Celeste picked at their nails. "Wait." Malina said as Celeste started to push themselves off of them. "Where am I? Help me get out of here, Villain." Malina pleaded. "Again, afraid I can't do that." The witch hopped off of the hero's lap and placed the blindfold back over their eyes. "See ya, Hero~." Celeste said as she opened the doors and shut them again.

"Marvel needs you in his office." One of the guards grunted to Celeste. "Alright. Make sure our prisoner gets something to eat. Not much, bread, maybe some water." The witch nodded to the guard and walked towards the direction of Marvel's office.

"Hey! Hello!? I know someone can hear me in here!" Malina shouted. Celeste didn't put the gag back in their mouth. Even though that gave Malina an advantage, she would still rather see their surroundings and possibly think of an escape plan. "HEY!" Malina screamed. The doors busted open, revealing two angry guards standing in the open. "Finally. I'm hungry." Malina said as one of the guards walked up to them. "Why did Villain leave your mouth uncovered?" The guard grabbed Malina's chin. "I don't know. All I know is, I'm hungry and I want food." She spat, snatching their chin free.

The guard looked back at the guard still standing in the opening, gun at the ready. "You heard her, get some food." He yelled back at the guard. The man in the suit scurried off, assumingly into the kitchen. "So..." Malina glanced at the name tag on the guards suit, "Oliver. What made you want this job?" The guard, now known as Oliver shoved the gag back into the Hero's mouth, making them shut up.

Moments later the other guard returns with a small plate of bread and a cup of water. Oliver removed the gag from Malina's mouth as the guard placed the plate on their lap. "How am I going to eat without my hands?" Malina asked, fumbling with the ropes. The guards shared a glance before turning back and shaking their heads "no". "Oh pretty please boys~. I'm only so helpless." The hero batted their eyelashes at the guards. "I guess it couldn't hurt." Oliver shrugged and whipped around behind the hero and untied the ropes around their arms and torso.

Without missing a beat, Malina slams the chair backwards, breaking the glass plate as it hit the floor. As the chair went down, so did Oliver behind it. Malina wriggled their arms from the now loose ropes and grabbed a glass shard. The other guard jumped on top of Hero, pinning them down more than they already were. Malina slits his throat with the sharp edge of the glass shard, making the guard lay flat on them. They pushed them off to the side and peered at the unconscious Oliver on the floor.

The hero untied their feet and grabbed a ring of keys from Oliver's pocket. "Thanks boys. Next time don't believe a Hero playing the damsel in distress act." Malina blew a kiss to the guards before closing the doors and locking them. Fucking hell this place is a maze. Malina turned down the first corner she saw. She heard talking from a closed door at the end of the hallway. Bingo.

The hero burst inside the room, holding up the bloody glass shard that was once a part of a plate. "What the hell!??" Marvel stood up from their seat as the doors opened. Celeste turned in the chair they were currently seating in. "Get up." Malina walked up to Celeste, still holding the glass shard. "I hope you realize I have lightning as a power, this glass shard is not terrifying." Celeste slowly stood from their seat. "Dont." Malina turned back to face Marvel who was about to press the red button on his spruce wood desk. "Hero...oh so stubborn Hero. What did you expect me to do? I can't have you prancing around the city saving everyone while I am, quote on quote M.I.A." Marvel rounded his desk, "Honestly, what did you think would happen? You'll just continue fighting crime and get away with it? Let's be real with ourselves." Marvel grabbed the shard from Malina's hand.

"Did you think Celeste was going to continue messing around with you? And there wouldn't be consequences?" He placed the shard on his desk, "A hero..and a villain?" He laughed. "You've proved just what I expected. Celeste, you've truly disappointed me. There are many villains that like you in this Agency. But you went with the Hero. You're both failures." He hissed.

Guards burst into the room, grabbing onto Celeste and Malina. "W-What? Unhand me!" Celeste stumbled around, as Malina stood there, staring at the smirking supervillain. "You're both just pawns in my game. Your so-called love is all a fake. You never really loved each other. But you're too young to realize that," Marvel runs the glass shard along Malina's face. "Your whole relationship was an experiment." Those words stung the both of them. It couldn't be true. N-No it wasn't. "Leave her alone! If your beef is with me, fine. Do whatever you want, but don't drag her into this!" Celeste tried to get out of the guard's grasp, but she couldn't manage.

"Don't deny it, dear Celeste. You said it yourself, remember?" Marvel walked in front of the witch. "You remember, don't you? "Tell me our relationship was just an experiment to see if the hero and the villain would work out" " Marvel mocked in a girlie tone. "No." Celeste choked back tears. "Did you know about this, Celeste? Did you really play me?" Malina faced their head towards Celeste. "What? No! You can't seriously- You can't-" Celeste's voice cracked as a tear flew down their cheek.

"Take me home." Malina looked at Marvel, "Please." She pleaded. Marvel nodded, and with a snap of two fingers, the women were gone. "Well now. Scurry on now." Marvel ordered the guards out of the office.
