(AN: TW//: More violence! This will be the last chapter for now with violence. I really wanted to write some action since this is mainly about a hero and a villain, it wouldn't make sense for there to be no fighting scenes.)

Celeste had no idea where she was. The area was so unfamiliar but familiar at the same time. Maybe Malina and them fought there back in the day. Malina. Celeste sat on a bench and closed their eyes, thinking one and only one thing; Malina.
When she opened her eyes again, she sat on the bench on top of the snowy cliffs. Celeste sent Malina here two days ago. I doubt she's still here, but might as well give it a try. She thought as she stood from the bench. There were footprints, they looked not too old, and they went back and forth in a circle. Definitely Malina's. Celeste could only see the circle of footprints, maybe the other ones got covered up by the snow.
Celeste thought about calling out Malina's name, but with the state their voice was in, it was probably best she not. Instead, she called out to Malina through their head, where their voice wasn't dry and hoarse. Malina! Malina! Where are you! Celeste shouted in their head. Celeste? Celeste heard a faint voice, but couldn't make it out. It sure wasn't their own, why would they call out their own name. Celeste! I'm right here! The voice was louder this time, it sounded like.. "Malina!" Celeste said out loud, scanning around the snowy peaks. "Celeste!" Malina's voice called. Celeste whipped around to see a crying Malina running towards them. Celeste ran towards Malina, their eyes burning from the cold air hitting their watery eyes.
Celeste's body fell into Malina, as she pulled them into a hug. "Malina. Are you okay?" She asked, looking into Malina's eyes, holding onto their cheeks. "Yes, I'm okay." Malina cried. "What did they do to you?" Their eyes looked all over Celeste's bruised and beaten face, making them cry harder. Celeste didn't answer Malina, but instead pulled their chin to look into their eyes. "I-I'm fine. But we won't be for long." She stuttered out. Malina cupped Celeste's face in their hands, pulling them in for multiple quick pecks on the lips. Both of the woman's tears fell down their faces.
Before either of them could stutter out a word, let alone a sentence, they heard running coming from behind the both of them. "I'm sorry, we have to cut this short, my love." Malina sniffed. Celeste nodded and turned around to more than four muscular people in black suits storming towards them. Malina saw the same thing when she turned around. This would be the first time they fought together when they were on the same team. "Let's do this." Celeste said, it was to encourage the both of them but it came out as more of a mumble to themself.
Malina ran towards the closet guard, jumping into the air wrapping their legs around their neck. The goal was to twist it but she forgot to think about gravity, and ended up plummeting into the snow. She quickly recovered by flipping them over. Celeste body slammed two of the guards into each other, wrapping them up with lightning bolts. She sped behind another one pulling them into a chokehold. As Celeste is trying to steady the muscular guard fighting back, she spotted Malina on top of a different guard, throwing multiple punches back to back. Celeste noticed two bigger guards running towards Malina. "Malina! There's two behind you!" Celeste shouts towards Malina as she twists the guard she had in a chokehold's, neck.
Malina heard Celeste's shout and rolled over onto their back, making the two guards running towards them fall into the guard that was already on the ground. Before the guards could stand up, Celeste threw a lightning bolt towards one while Malina grabbed the other one by the neck and slammed their head into the bench. "Oo, that's gotta hurt." She said as the guard slid down the back of the bench. Celeste held a sharp lightning bolt in their hand as they slid under a male guard's legs, cutting them in the underpart before jumping on their back, electrocuting them.
"You gotta teach me how to do that." Malina took a short breath as she put their back against Celeste's like in those cool spy movies. "You got to learn how to hold my lightning bolts without being electrocuted then." Celeste said, winded. "Duck." Malina said sternly as she dropped down in a squat position, pulling Celeste down with them. As soon as Malina pulled Celeste down, a small, sharp knife flew above their heads. "Thanks." Celeste said quickly before lightning bolting behind the guard who threw the knife. "Hey man. You almost cut me and my girlfriend's head off, that wasn't very nice." Celeste said before stabbing the man in the back.
Stab, gut, pull out. Thanks Rings of Power. Celeste thought before throwing the bloody lightning bolt behind Malina where a guard charged at them from behind while they were fighting a different one. "Fucking hell. How many did he send?" Celeste shouted. "I don't know!" Malina grunted, running towards Celeste. Celeste turned around to see another guard standing closely behind them with a knife. Malina pushed the guard down, maneuvering the small knife from the guard, stabbing them instead. "Try it again, I will hunt you down in my next life." She whispered into the guard's ear before stabbing them in the stomach. "That was the last one." Malina said, wiping the knife with their hands before shoving it into their pocket.
