Maybe I should have listened to them. God! Stop it brain, please. I just want to sleep. Celeste laid awake in their bed, still somewhat crying from what happened two hours earlier. They reached over and grabbed the pillow Malina used to sleep on. It still smells like them. She sniffed the pillow, making them cry more. I'm such a fucking idiot. Why? Why me? I just want to be happy. And Malina made me happy.

Celeste sat up and grabbed their phone from the night stand. 2 messages? One message was from Malina. We have to fight tomorrow. Usual area, 3pm. Read the message. Of course. Celeste scoffed. The other message was from Amy. Wanna hang out tomorrow? Let me know when you're free. Said the message. This is the perfect timing. I'll text her in the morning. Celeste smiled. They went on the news, and just as they expected, headlines are already out. "Malina Gal and Celeste Bolt, the town's hero and villain, reportedly broke up after a few weeks of dating." Celeste read the headline out loud. Tch. They set their phone back down on the nightstand and got under the covers, grabbing Malina's pillow again.

I'm such an idiot! Why did I go to that bar! Why'd I let that girl kiss me? Ugh! Malina punched their pillow. Their suitcase was opened and the clothes that were once inside of it were laid out across the floor, she was too lazy to put them up. Celeste must have been in a hurry to pack those clothes since they packed their own hoodie. Malina scrunched themself into a ball, hugging onto Celeste's hoodie.

"Malina." The boss's voice came from the doorway. Malina hid the hoodie underneath their pillow and sat up. "Yes?" She sniffed. "You want to explain to me why you're in here sulking like a child?" He crossed his arms and leaned on the doorway. The boss has always been cold, but Malina wasn't just a puppet to him. She was the daughter he never got, he may have treated them horribly, but he somewhat cares for them. "It doesn't matter, not that important." Malina waved off. "You're crying. I'm sure it's important. Unless you want to go to the box again." He said. Malina shook their "no" "It's about Celeste. We uh, we had a fight and she kicked me out." Malina wiped their eyes. "What was the fight about?" Boss questioned. "I told them they would have me all weekend, but then I had to work today and afterwards I went to the bar, a-and they saw me kissing someone else." Malina explained. "Why were you kissing someone else?" He pushed on. "I wasn't! She kissed me! I don't even know how Celeste got a photo of us. Probably one of their friends recognized me.." Malina mumbled that last part.

"You were still caught kissing someone else while being in a relationship with a different person. Doesn't matter if you didn't initiate the kiss, Celeste doesn't know that. In their eyes you're a cheater, point blank." Boss said. "I mean, should I try to explain again or something?" Malina asked for advice, even though Boss didn't approve of Malina's and Celeste's relationship, he gave good advice. "No, it's too late now. Find someone better, and on the same team as you. Also, text Celeste you have a fight scheduled for 3pm, at your usual area." And with that, he left the room.

Great. Now she's going to definitely think I never cared about our relationship. I don't even want to fight them, especially not now. Malina sent the text before placing their phone on the nightstand. She grabbed the hoodie from under the pillow and put it on, hugging themself. Ding! A phone notification sound came from the nightstand. She replied all ready? Malina thought, grabbing their phone again. Really? Fine. I want my hoodie back too. Celeste responded. "Great." Malina mumbled under their breath.

(AN: We haven't had a Malina centered POV in a second, phew.)
