(Hey guys! I'm currently posting chapters of this story from my quotev account since it was finished over there, and not here. So I know it's the beginning of April but when this chapter was originally posted, it was christmas. Enjoy!)

I was going to try and write a chapter for you guys today for Christmas, but honestly I don't have the motivation nor energy to write one.
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays/Happy Hanukkah to whoever celebrates it! I hope you have an amazing day whether you celebrate or not. <3

"Celeste! What are you doing?" Malina asked the witch putting decorations onto the tree, "You need to color code it! We're doing all gold, sliver, and red this year!"

"Why? I want to put all of the colors on the tree." Celeste rolled her eyes.

"I don't care! Color code it or I'm not cooking dinner tonight." Malina scolded. Celeste had no idea why decorating the tree was such a big deal for Malina, but she wouldn't pass up the hero's amazing Christmas dinner recipe. Both of the women' s families were coming down to visit for the holidays and everything needed to be perfect. Malina knew their stepdad didn't care for fancy Christmas decorations, he only cared about spending time with his loved ones. Celeste's family on the other hand went all out on decorations. So, the hero needed to make sure everything was perfect so everyone enjoyed the evening.

So, Celeste sucked it up and color coded the Christmas tree, even though once the families had arrived at their new big home, they had no mind to the tree or fancy lights and all the wreaths the two had put up because they were with family. They had been through so much in the past year, coming together like they were then is how they wanted to come together every year. Without any drama. Just love. So, as they did their dramatic toasts, and lots of tears were shed, they ate the delicious platters of food Malina had made, with little help from Celeste. Don't worry, Irma did not show up empty handed.

"Merry Christmas!" They all rejoiced
