SABINA's POV

I was busy looking at the perfume in the perfume section when I felt like someone was watching me for some reason. I looked around the shop but everyone was busy in their own little world.

Then, I caught a figure outside, standing there like a crow, observing my every more. I blinked innumerably and my body went rigid when I saw that familiar face. He looked like someone from the early 20th century with his black top hat and black suit.

I couldn't move my body as my heart throbbed in total panic.

"Are you looking for a specific perfume, Miss?" The sales assistant suddenly came over and asked me so my attention shifted to her. I could feel my body slightly trembling.

"N-No. I'm just looking at them because they look nice." I then looked outside again but no one was there anymore. Was it just a pigment of my imagination?

I swore, I saw him standing there! I swallowed hard and tried my best to calm down.

"Are you okay, Miss?" There was a hint of concern in her voice. I forced a smile.

"I'm okay. Thank you for asking."

She nodded her head. "If you need something, you can call me. I'll be just over there." I nodded my head.

"Okay. Thank you." She then left. I touched my chest. My heart was still racing and I felt like it was about to come out of my chest. Oh, God. I hope that that was just my imagination. But I need to confirm it!

I quickly went out of the shop and looked around, making sure that I wasn't just imagining things just now but I saw no one there except for some passersby.

"Maybe, I'm just hungry that's why I'm seeing things that I don't want to see." I convinced myself and took another breath before releasing it to calm myself down. After that, I then went back inside with my head full of what just happened.

"Hey. Where have you been? Is everything okay?" I blinked innumerably upon hearing Xzavier's voice.

"Huh?"

His eyebrows creased. "Are you okay? You're spacing out. Why did you go out?" I forced a smile.

"I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me. I thought I saw someone I know but I was only mistaken." Then, I noticed what he was holding. "Whom are you buying that for?" I asked, referring to the dresses, bag and something else that he was holding but obviously trying to keep in hidden from me.

"For you, who else?"

"For me? Why?" We're currently in Sophialina Lyon branch. He asked me for a date and I gladly said yes. I was full of happiness since a while ago but now, I was seeing things that dreaded to see and it ruined my mood in a way.

I mentally shook my head. Concentrate, Sab! You're on a date with your boyfriend for Christ's sake! This is your first time having a proper date so you should enjoy it!

"Do I need a reason to buy my girlfriend stuff I think that will look good on her?" I chuckled and tipped on my toes to give him a peck on the lips because he was now frowning.

"Hey, don't be too serious. You already look Shrek." I teased him and pressed my thumbs over his eyebrows to straighten them and it worked because his face softened.
