The day after Asriel and Hinata parted ways, Hinata also received a message from Rimuru. That if all else fails, they would come face to face with Hinata again. Though Hinata is already convinced that Tempest isn't a threat, she still agreed to Rimuru's invitation. So the next day, she went to the City of Tempest, along with her subordinates. And there, Rimuru was already waiting for her arrival
"You came" Rimuru said, smiling while looking at Hinata
"Only because my view on Tempest has changed" Hinata replied, looking like the cold person she was
"That's good enough" Rimuru responded
"I am already willing to cooperate with Tempest, however I have one last request before I fully give my trust to you" Hinata stated as she looked at Rimuru's subordinates, then to hers
"What is it?" Rimuru asked
"Duel with me, sword to sword" Hinata said as she looked at Rimuru, being serious about it
"E-ehh???" Rimuru reacted, confused
"I need to make sure the Leader of this City is capable of protecting it from great threats as well. I have already seen the power of your subordinate, Asriel, and he was very difficult to deal with, so I expect nothing less from the Master" Hinata explained, as she drew her blade
Inhaling, Rimuru looked at Hinata seriously and said;
"Very well" As they drew their blade
Hinata used her Unique Skill: Mathematician, and analyzed Rimuru's power once again. And to her surprise, it was a 'Success'. So she then threw her usual sword aside and brought out her Moonlight Rapier
The two would begin to clash, both of them seeming to be evenly matched. However their fight would start to get very intense, as their dueling began to get more and more aggressive and destructive. Hinata then equipped the Holy Spirit Armaments to turn herself into a full fledged Saint, temporarily. She doesn't usually do this, and only when the opponent is exceptionally strong does she equip them, however as their fight lasted longer, both of them would begin to get tired, and Hinata began to realize that her Human Body is a Limit as well, but even with the Holy Spirit Armaments, she was still beginning to get tired. So, she proposed one thing to Rimuru
"Hey, Rimuru. I have a proposition" Hinata said, as she stopped her barrage of attacks
"Eh? What is it?" Rimuru asked her
"If you can survive my strongest attack, then I will declare you the victor of this duel" Hinata said as she was preparing to use her strongest attack
"Hmm, I guess that would be fine" Rimuru said
And so, with that, Hinata began to charge up her attack. King of Wisdom Raphael tried to warn Rimuru about this, but they just ignored it, Asriel was also watching from a safe distance, just so he can see Hinata fight Rimuru. Hinata's attack finished charging up, she yelled;
"Disintegrate!" As the energy would charge up on her Moonlight Rapier, and released it upon Rimuru
"Warning! Warning!"
"Fatal Attack incoming!"
"There is only one way to survive this, and it is to sacrifice Gluttonous King: Beelzebub, confirm?" King of Wisdom Raphael warned and asked Rimuru
(Yes) Rimuru responded
"Beelzebub!" Rimuru opened their palm towards the attack Hinata sent to them
Beelzebub would then begin to absorb the whole attack that Hinata sent, however it is getting too overwhelming, but it does succeed, Rimuru survived, and in return, they lost Beelzebub
"Well.. I guess that concludes it" Hinata said as she walked up to Rimuru
Rimuru was sitting on the ground, tired and dead-beat
"Hm?" They looked up at Hinata
"You truly are worthy of leading this country" Hinata said as she offered her hand to Rimuru
Which Rimuru gladly accepted, as she helped them get up. But this wasn't the end of the story, Hinata's sword then began to float out of her hand and glow in the sky, knowing what this was, Hinata pushed Rimuru far back
"Are you really going to go this far, Seven Celestials?!" Hinata yelled aloud
As the Sword was about to release a large explosion, something ate it, and that something, was Asriel's Hyper Goner
"A-Asriel!" Hinata looked at him in relief
"I can't hold this thing in for long, run while you still can!" Asriel yelled
Everyone around the area then evacuated, as the sword exploded inside the mouth of the Hyper Goner, though weakened, still let out a massive explosion. As the energy, smoke, and dust cleared out, Asriel spatial transported to Hinata and Rimuru
"Are you two okay?" Asriel asked them
"Yeah, we are" Rimuru said
"Thank you for that" Hinata thanked Asriel
"Don't mention it" Asriel said as he took a look at the place where it exploded
And, as Asriel said this. His face changed from relieved to serious, and the vibe he gave off began to change. As if a spirit possessed him and changed the way he acts
(Explanation: The 7 Souls that evolved from their remaining energy within Asriel were the ones that took over his body at this time. They have a mind of their own and function quite like King of Wisdom Raphael)
"Hm.. say, Hinata, those Seven Celestials you were talking about. Are they in Ruberios?" Asriel asked, as his aura would begin to fill the area, as well as an angry vibe would rise from within him
"Yes, why do you ask?" Hinata replied, and asked him back
"Oh nothing, nothing at all" Asriel said in a cold voice
"Hey, I'll be out somewhere" Asriel said before vanishing in front of Hinata and Rimuru
They questioned where he went. But for those who know what Asriel has gone through, and what could have happened if he didn't step in to protect them. You know that God's Wrath will be released one way or another
