While a great battle was transpiring in the route that Clayman's army took on their way to Tempest. The Infiltration Team had their own adventure. However while going there, they stumbled across some trouble, a Skeleton Army, led by a Skeleton Priest. Naturally, a battle took place, Souei took on a Skeleton Dragon, and Hakurou picked a fight with a Skeleton Swordsman, Souei's team with the Skeleton Army. And as for Shuna, she took on the Skeleton Priest herself
The battle started off heated, with the Skeleton Priest launching a Necromantic Spell at Shuna, but was eventually blocked by Shuna's spell
"Let's see how you handle this!" The Priest said as he pointed his finger towards Shuna
Later on, the Skeletons that surrounded them rushed towards Shuna, but she casted a Barrier spell that when expanded, kills everything that it touches
A bit surprised, but the Skeleton Priest launched another attack towards her, however, Shuna had a trick up her sleeve. Holy Magic, as she casted this spell, an expansion of what seemed to be multiple Church Bells appeared and completely nullified the Skeleton Priest's attack
"What?! A Divine Miracle?! How is a Monster capable of using Holy Magic?!" The Skeleton Priest asked in both anger and confusion
"It's simple, as long as the user truly believes in a miracle. They can be capable of using Holy Magic" Shuna explained politely
(Tch, I thought it would be impossible for me to use Holy Magic right after I died, and lost my faith in my God) The Skeleton Priest thought and reflected on himself
And upon doing this, the Priest began to put his Faith in another God that he believes in, Kazaream. And putting all his faith in one attack
Suddenly, rifts of magic began to form all around Shuna, above, below and surrounding her
(Yes, I may not be as strong as I was in my prime. But I can absolutely say I'll try my best to not disappoint you, Lord Kazaream!) The Priest kept praying, as the spell was ready to get activated
"Disintegrate!" The Priest yelled, but, Shuna once again had another trick up her sleeve
When she casted, this spell, the Priest's spell was reverted back to him
"Disintegrate!" Shuna yelled aloud, as a loud explosion occurred on the spot where the Priest stood
As this went on, Hakurou has defeated the Swordsman, and Souei defeated the Dragon. But somehow, the Skeleton Priest survived. And went up to talk to Shuna
"Back when I was about to die, I lost all faith in my God, Luminous. I thought as a skeleton, I would be unable to use Holy Magic, but you, you've proven me wrong" The Priest said, putting his gaze on Shuna
"Oh... I see" Shuna simply responded
"Tell me, who is the God you worship?" The Skeleton Priest said as he knelt down
"W-worship?"
"Well, there's two people I respect the most. Their names are Rimuru and Asriel" Shuna responded to the Priest
"Rimuru and Asriel, yes, names that truly sound worthy of being a God" the Skeleton Priest said
"Allow me and my surviving men to join you, we will spread the word of the glory of our Gods, Rimuru and Asriel!" The Skeleton Priest said excitingly, as he stood up
"Are you sure about this?" Souei whispered to Shuna
"I don't know, but he seems energetic about it anyway" Shuna whispered back
"But before we can take you back, we need to accomplish our mission" Hakurou said as he turned his gaze to Clayman's castle
"Follow me" The Skeleton Priest said as he was ready to turn his back on Clayman to pursue his new faith in the 2 new Gods he worshipped
Right after they managed to destroy Clayman's castle, Asriel, who at this point in time, was just settling things in Tempest, felt something, and so he questioned himself;
(Why do I feel like someone is praying to me?)
And Rimuru asked this as well;
(I feel like someone is worshipping me, but who and why)
