After the death of all 7 Luminaries, the three, Hinata, Asriel and Rimuru walked all the way from Ruberios to Tempest, where everyone was waiting for their return. And it seemed like there was a surprise awaiting them in the Nation
"Lord Rimuru!" Shion shouted as she rushed towards Rimuru, hugging them
"I was so worried for you!" Shion said while burying her face on Rimuru's chest
"Eheh- you don't have to worry. It was just a minor incident" Rimuru said to try and calm Shion down
It also seemed like Asriel has managed to regain control of his body. But through his mind, he saw everything that the 7 Souls had done, and thought to himself that he still has much to learn
"So what happened? Why did Asriel go to Ruberios?" Shuna asked Rimuru
"He went on to kill the 7 Celestial Luminaries under Lord Luminous' command" Hinata replied quicker than Rimuru could
"Hm.. I see" Shuna replied
"Well then, it appears like I have no more business here. I will be returning here tomorrow though"
(Definitely not for the Japanese stuff)
"But until then, I shall see you all again" Hinata said as she went on to leave Tempest, while everyone said their goodbyes and waved
"By the way, Lord Asriel. Someone is here to see you" Benimaru told Asriel, as he turned his attention to him
"Hm? Did they say their name?" Asriel asked Benimaru
"She said her name was Chara" Benimaru replied
Hearing the name 'Chara', Asriel's face turned shocked near instantly, as his hand began to shake
"C-C-Chara..?" He asked in disbelief
"Yes, would you like to meet her?" Benimaru confirmed and asked
"Yes, I want to meet her ASAP" Asriel replied
"Very well, she is in the Northern Side of Tempest, by the Farms. She said she was planting something" Benimaru told him her location
"Thank you" Asriel then used his Unique Skill: Spatial Domination to transport himself there immediately
"Hey- Asriel!" Rimuru called out
"Let us try to not bother him Lord Rimuru, it seems like it's a personal matter. We should try not to pry in it" Benimaru suggested
"Hmm.. fine, let's just go to the Capitol" Rimuru sighed as they left
When he arrived there, there seemed to be no one around. The only things in sight were the Farms, the Trees, the Birds and the Golden Flowers. Wait... Golden Flowers?
(These Flowers...) Asriel thought, contemplating his past, and remembering his life as a Flower
"Azzy?" A familiar voice called out to Asriel from a few meters beside him
"..!!" Asriel then immediately shifted his gaze to the source of the voice
And from there, he met his long lost Best Friend
"Chara!" Asriel called out to her as well as he rushed to her and gave her a tight hug
"Asriel!" Chara said as she hugged back
Asriel then began to tear up as he held Chara in his arms, shaking in fear that all this might just be some sort of trick someone played on him
"Heh.. even after all the enemies you've faced, and the power you gained. At the end of the day you're still a crybaby" Chara teased him as she pat his back
"Shut up.. just.. don't say anything" Asriel said to her, as he couldn't let go of her
And throughout the day, Asriel and Chara wouldn't be seen anywhere in Tempest. It seemed like they had a lot of catching up to do. Even in the night, Asriel was absent for Dinner despite knowing it was Shuna making the food, now you know something is off. Or it could just be him trying to catch up with his Best Friend. So, in order to get some payback for suddenly disappearing like that, they were planning something
"Say, do you guys want to go to the Ruins tomorrow?" Rimuru asked
"Hm? Which Ruins?" Hakurou wondered as he was eating his food
"The Ruins that Asriel and Hinata visited, the one where the Chaos Dragon lies or something" Rimuru clarified
Reacting to this, Hakurou spit out the soup from his food and coughed
"THOSE Ruins?! It could be dangerous!" Hakurou said as he wiped his mouth
"Which is why we're bringing in Asriel with us. Plus it was Hinata that told us about the Ruins, so maybe we should go there" Rimuru persisted
"Hmm.. well I for one am not coming" Hakurou said
"Same" Benimaru followed up
"Same" Gobta did as well
"Same" Shion surprisingly did as well
"Same" Everyone in the area refused to go with
"W-wha. Fine then, I'll just invite Milim and Asriel" Rimuru told them
But even they didn't know how they'll notify Asriel about this since he hasn't been seen or found by even Souei. But tomorrow, they'll drag Asriel if they have to for him to come with them, Milim will obviously come with as long as it's with her Best Friend.
[Meanwhile...]
Asriel and Chara were both just in Ruberios, talking to Hinata. However it seemed like both Chara and Hinata were debating who was more worthy of being Asriel's friend, wait, I meant Best Friend
