Christian.
"What the hell were you -" I winced at the sharp pain shooting in my throat. Goddamnit.
"Are you crazy?" I slowly asked Ryan. What the heck was he thinking telling every single detail to Hazel?
"I'm sorry sir I thought I should giver her a detailed report as she wasn't aware of anything at all" Ryan quietly said.
Report? She's not me! You're not supposed to report everything to her!
I wished my hands were in a condition where I could have slapped myself for this. I've seen her panic attack enough times to know what might happen to her if she heard what happened to me.
"You idiot. She gets panic attacks. You really shouldn't have told her that." I whispered.
"I'm really sorry sir. What should I do now?" Ryan was getting panicked too. Probably because the seriousness of the situation was coming down on him.
"When I wake up again, call her." I said, before my eyelids became to heavy and carried me into dreamless sleep that medication brought along.

"His blood pressure has returned to normal again. That's a good sign."
"Thank you Doctor. Oh thank God."
Jane's voice woke me up. As usual she was standing too close to me.
"Ryan" I tried to open my eyes. The pain had slightly subsided due to the constant medication my body was receiving. Still it hurt everytime I spoke.
Ryan shifted from his position and came to my side. "Yes sir?"
"Call her. I need to know that she's-that she's okay."
He nodded and pulled out his phone. From the corner of my eyes, I noticed Jane. I knew she was keenly listening to us. Unrecognisable expression was plastered over her face.
"Sir, you shouldn't talk." Jane turned to me as the doctor left. "You must not strain your throat."
I just gave her a nod. Her expressions were still stiffened as she pulled a chair closer to my bed and sat on it. "Who is it that you are so worried about?" Her eyes were fixed on Ryan.
"You don't need to know." I knew I should not talk harshly with her as she's my life saviour but I just couldn't get Hazel involved in another danger.
She said something again, but ears didn't catch it. I was intensely concentrating on the conversation Ryan was having.
"Sir was not the one who talked to her. Believe me." Ryan was getting agitated by the minute.
"It was me. I apologise for it. I'm extremely sorry. I had no idea." Ryan had started pacing the room, and it made me shudder with fear. Something had happened to her.
"Ryan! Let me talk!" I screamed, immediately regretting my decision. My throat was stinging as hell. It was not the best time to scream.
"Christian! Why do you keep doing that?" Jane questioned grabbing my injured hand gently.
"Sorry." I muttered.
"I'm sorry sir, but I've ended the call. It's better that I break it to you rather than having that guy shout at you." Ryan took a deep breath, and he rarely did that. He did that only when his mind was exploding with anger.
