April
"Leah can you go and buy this for me please?" Mrs. Tucker said peeking through the ajar door of our room. I shared Leah's room because there were many people in this house and I couldn't just barge in and ask for a separate room.
"Mum it's late and I'm sleepy, um maybe tomorrow?" Leah lied. She was far away from being sleepy.
"Um, I'll go instead!" I jumped out of the other side of the bed and took the note Mrs. Tucker was holding. "What's this? Medicine?" I read medicine's name in my mind. It was unusual.
"That's Rian's medicine.." Mrs. Tucker paused. "Rian has a... disease and he gets attacks sometimes in sleep so we need those in order to stop his fits. I forgot that the bottle was empty we needed to refill. I'm sorry to bother you dear but every one else has their hands full of some other work."
I looked confused at Leah but didn't breach more of their privacy. After all I had no right to pry. So I smiled. "You don't have to explain so much just tell me and I'll do it. I'm just like your daughter right?"
"Right." She gave me a big hug before leaving the room.
"I'll come with you." Leah said putting on her hoodie. "I thought you were sleepy." I teased.
"Shut up." She groaned.
"Leah why do you have to act like a spoiled cold arrogant brat when you're actually pretty nice girl?" I teased shutting the door.
"It's my nature." She glared back at me and I just laughed.
Leah was really a good girl. She acted tough and cold sometimes but I knew deep down she was the kindest soul of all.

Rian's medicine was special or more specifically specially made for him. That's why only one drugstore had it and that store was a far away from Leah's house. To the other side of Old Lyme.
"I swear my brothers are so useless at times." Leah muttered while she angrily drove the car.
"You can't blame them Lee. They are away for work right?" I opened the front box and pulled out some cassettes. Leah loved listening these when she drove and more importantly she loved cassettes than CDs.
I played them and kept humming with it. It was past nine so Old Lyme was enveloped in soothing silence. Houses were filled with yummy smells and streets were empty.
"Leah can I talk to about something?" I slowly put my hand on hers.
"Since when did you need to ask me before talking about anything silly. Go ahead." She gave me a smirk.
"Today at library.. I was going to meet Christian. I wonder what he wanted to talk about." I knew it angered Leah but I had no one else to talk about it.
She didn't reply but didn't shout either. Which meant I can talk more.
"Do you think I should ask him about it? He might know something about that night. He might-"
