Me ,klaus ,deigo and luther sat around a table at the bar while five got changed after being in the sauna , luther and deigo were eating their food like pigs .
I had chosen not to eat anything , I wasnt hungry . Despite having not eating properly in days .
I had gotten changed into this so I didnt have to wear the uniform any longer, that was for fighting and saving the world in. Or atleast formal clothes were for that.

The two dudes swallowed their food quickly and shovelled more into their mouths
" you guys should try chewing " I sassed while grimacing " you might actually taste the food"
" I havent eaten in days" Diego argued with a shrug as five took a seat next to me, he was wearing a bathrobe
" what's wrong?" Luther asked five " you look... happy?"
" I am plenty happy" five smiled "had a nap and a shvitz. What does a man need?"
" brothers who dont eat like barn animals " klaus scoffed
The two glared at him
" so I've been thinking through our little timeline snafu " five said after a moment of silence " and I'm pleased to report that in my professional expert opinion , we are totally in the clear"
" finnaly!" I exclaimed
" awsome" klaus clapped " great!"
" so everything totally fine?" Asked luther
" more less" five sighed " I mean, there is one... small thing, but its.. nothing we cant manage"
Five went to open some of the food
" so, spit it out boomer!" Deigo demanded
" fine, deigo it's like this" said five " dad didn't adopt us as babies , but those babies still existed here. Just grew up in different places with different people"
" so?" Asked deigo
" so where are they now." Five replied " odds are we each have identical versions of ourselves walking around out there, living completely different lives. "
" huh!" Luther gasped " our doppelgangers!"
" that's a made up word" said klaus
" no , no! I learned all about this in texas" he exclaimed " tell them about the paranoid sycoses guys!"
" oh wow wow wow wow" deigo interrupted " I thought you said this wasnt a problem!"
" ok, yes , technically if you're near your doppel for long, you'll go insane, so if you ever see your other self--"

" avoid them" five sighed
" what the hell is wrong with you?" Luther asked klaus
" oh come on!" He replied " as if you wouldn't climb luther mountain "
" five " I said " what happens if we do bump into ourselves? How do we avoid it?"
" easy" he replied " I mean, we're the benetton ad of superheroes. Born all around the world until dad brought us here . Which he bo longer did. Dopples probably aren't even in the same time zone as us"
" that's true." Klaus said
" would you pass the moo shu?" Asked five, luther passed him it
" I dont know though" sighed klaus " doesnt it seem kind of rude taht dad unadopting , us, didn't change anything? I'm offended!"
" I never said that klaus" five furrowed his eyebrows
" be right back" deigo ran off for an unspecified reason
" but , how are we gonna know where it changed?"
I laughed lightly, he was an idiot . They all were . Idiots I was stuck with.
I rested my head on fives shoulder while he ate some noodles
" want some?" He asked holding the chopsticks up
" sure" I smiled he fed some to me, it was pretty good actually
" Bet you're regretting not ordering any now" klaus teased
I swallowed
" I regret nothing " I replied
We sat in silence for a bit , they happily ate their food and I sat there practically falling asleep on fives shoulder while I rested my eyes
Suddenly, energy surged through my body and the hotel. I looked around confused, did no one else feel that?
" anyway " said five " the point is we did it, we saved the world! We stopped the apocalypse. And made it home safe in time for dinner, so whatever dad changed, whatever timeline we're in now. We can handle it. we won. "
