There was music playing through the house , i smiled knowing the others were 100% dancing to this right now.
I sung along quietly until it came to an abrupt stop and thunder sounded. That was ... strange.
Suddenly certain items in my room began hitting the walls , ok this was definitely not a thunder storm .
I ran downstairs realising everyone else was to, looking confused as ever.
We opened the back door and went into the courtyard where we saw a large blue ball of energy , the wind was howling causing it to spin around.
" what is it?" I demanded
" dont get to close!" Allison instructed
" yeah no shit " Diego replied
" looks like some kind of temporal anomaly either that or a miniature black hole one of the two" said luther
" that's a pretty big difference there Paul bunion!"
" out of the way!" Klaus demanded then throughing a fire hydrant at it
" wow that was so cool klaus. Your a genius you stopped the black hole thing from spreading even further!" I clapped sarcastically
" do you have a better idea?" Klaus asked
Suddenly what looked like a man appeared to be coming through it
" Wow wow wow , everyone get behind me!"
" yeah get behind us!"
" I vote for running cmon!" Klaus yelled I chuckled
The man In a suit dropped down to the floor, the 'storm' stopped . We came closer
He stood up.... five?
" does anybody else see. Little number five or is it just me?" Asked klaus
He looked down at himself " shit "
" yeah, shit" I walked up to him then bitch slapped him across the face then grabbed him by the tie "you have a whooolleee lot of explaining to do."
I pulled him into the house then let go of him sitting down
" what's the date, the exact date?" He asked
" the 24th" vanya replied
" of what?" He asked
" March?"
" good " he began making a sandwich
" so are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Said luther " it's been seventeen years."
" it's been a lot longer than that" five replied harshly then teleporting to the cupboard
" haven't missed that"
" where'd you go?" Diego demanded
" the future " he replied " its shit by the way"
" called it!" Klaus announced
" I should've listen to the old man, yknow . Jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a roll of the dice" he said " nice dress "
" oh danke"
" how did you get back?" Asked vanya
" in the end I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state , version of myself. That exists across every possible instance with in time" he explained
" that makes no sense " said Diego
" well it would if you were smarter" he said , I snickered
" how long were you there?" Asked luther
" 45 years , give or take" five replied
" so youre 58 years old?" I asked
" no ,my consciousness is 58. My apparently my body is now thirteen again "
" how does that even work?" Asked vanya " I mean, y/n never grew up because somehow you froze her in time but becoming a completely different age makes no sense."
" delores kept saying the equations were off. Bet shes laughing now" my eyes softened. Delores. He always called me that....
" Delores?" I asked , he immediately went pink
" i-i um " he looked down at the table " guess I missed the funeral" he swiftly changed subject
" how do you know about that?" Asked luther
" what part of the future do you not understand?" Five said sarcastically " heart failure huh?"
" yeah."

" well... nice to see nothings changed. " he walked off
I began following him getting a sense of deja vu. We always chased eacother down these hallways when we were kids . I smiled at the memory. This place wasnt all bad after all I guess.
He entered his room and looked into his cupboard to see all of his school clothes
" well. " I said " guess that's what your gonna have to wear from here on out . Have fun being thirteen again " I smiled then went to leave
" wait wait y/n" he said I stopped and entered the room. He closed the door and got changed then turning to me . He tilted my head up " I know your probably mad at me --"
" definitely. Mad at you" I corrected " you promised two days. It's been seventeen years! Or in your case forty five!" I prodded his chest angrily
" it's not my fault. I couldn't get back I tried for years but only now could I get the right calculations " he replied
" I hate you" I grumbled " your a lying peice of shit! You put me in a seventeen year coma. All so you could go on this 'two day trip to the future ' I cant believe you!"
" delores I'm sorry I--"
" stop it just stop it" I said trying to calm down " I know you shouldn't have to apologise its not your fault for getting stuck it was just.... scary when allison told me you weren't back after seventeen years. I thought you died" I confessed " and I cant loose you "
" I know , I thought of you every day y/n" he smiled " I even named a maniquen after you so I didn't feel so alone. Which is sad I know bu--"
I engulfed him in a hug which he returned instantly
" I missed you ,you fucking bastard " I sniffed
" yeah I missed you to you bitch " he chuckled softly " that slap from earlier still stings by the way"
" good, I hope it does " i pulled away and began to walk through the door. I looked at him one last time before leaving and said "your still the only one who could rock those shorts "
I exited and went down the hall going to get some food. I've never been so happy over someone coming home in my life
