Five and I walked around the hotel while he ate cereal, we were completely silent. Though i think it was better this way, I know I voted stay but having the knowledge these hours were going to be the last I ever spent with him made me want to break down . And speaking would most likely set of a flood of tears.
" what are you doing? " came Viktors voice from behind us
" eating cereal. Retracing my steps " five replied
" why? "
" the old man is hiding something. " Five replied then starting to walk away
" yeah, feels like there's a lot of that going around " Viktor sighed
" what do you mean by that? " I asked
" Allison apologised to me" he replied
" ok, and tags suspicious ,how? " five furrowed his eyebrows
" last night she was ready to go ten rounds with me at the wedding" he explained " and this morning it's all dad and family and love. I don't know . something must have happened last night, but I don't know what. "
Five dropped his cereal while his eyes widened in shock
" Five , are you ok? " I asked
" it's Allison! " he exclaimed
Me and Viktor exchanged confused looks " what is? "
Suddenly we heard a no from down the hallway, it was Solane. The three of us ran towards the sound which was in the white buffalo suit. Ben Klaus Diego Lila and Allison stood looking down at Solane who was holding.... No , this can't be happening
I stoped dead in my tracks as tears began to flood down my face
" oh my god, luther" Viktor sighed in shock
Five grabbed my hand and pulled me next to him and Viktor . I looked down at a very dead Luther , his entire chest had been cut open and there was a hole going through his body
I practically fell onto five burying my face in the crook of his neck and sobbing. He wrapped his arms around me and asked Solane " what happened? "
" he went to go get ice. I couldn't --" she choked on her words "he didn't come back. I.... I don't know."
" it must've been him" said Lila " the guardian "
I looked over to the entrance , it was open.
" she's right " said Diego " whatever did this had a long curved blade. "
" how... How can you be sure? " Viktor asked tearfully
" I don't know much, but i-i know knives " he replied , I could hear his voice breaking
" children, what's going on? " Reggie ran in then gasped " oh god! Luther. "
I pulled away from five and wiped my tears with the back of my hand
" if we attacked first he would still be alive " said Ben with a hint of sadness in his voice.
Suddenly the hotel began shaking and an explosion caused me to jump in terror. Ben poked his head out the door and looked down the hall..
" g-guys! " he said " hey , guys! "
Me and five ran to the door looking out, I clutched his hand tightly
" what are we gonna do with Luther? " asked Solane
" okay, were out of time ! The kugelblitz is here. " said five as he walked us both back into the middle of the room
" everybody into the passage ! It's the only way! " Reginald exclaimed
Lila opened the door
" come along children hurry! "
Lila Diego and ben piled in while reg held the door open , Allison pulled Solane away from Luther and into the passage then followed by Viktor. I felt five shove me in, without looking back i ran down the beaming tunnel of light. I heard footsteps behind me. Five Klaus and reg, I was going to assume . But kept running into oblivion..
